Sat.-July 2WOL will be sponsoring a soda booth at the Westmoreland Arts and Heritage Festival. If you would like to represent WOL and volunteer to sell drinks, please sign up in the back lobby! Proceeds benefit the Daisy Project in India.

Sun.-July 3Westmoreland Arts & Heritage Festival at Twin Lakes: WOL Choir (adult & kids) will be performing on the main stage from 2-3pm!

COMMUNITY CARE TUESDAYS Pre-registration for DivorceCare, GriefShare, and LIGHT (children’s support group for ages 5-13) is preferred but not required. Registration forms are at the Connection Center. There is no childcare provided because we encourage parents to register their children in LIGHT (Leaning Into God’s Healing Touch). LIGHT will help children who are dealing with divorce, death of a loved one, domestic violence, addiction, depression, and other painful life situations. MISSIONS UPDATEJim Harris of Relevant Expeditions has sent an update and thank you to Word of Life for our generous donation towards drilling eleven fresh water wells in Cambodia. These wells will produce a fresh water supply for many years to come. We will be blessed to have Jim share with us at our Wednesday Evening Service on August 10 what God is doing through Relevant Expeditions in Cambodia and India.

CHARIS BIBLE STUDIES CLASS: SPIRIT, SOUL, BODYMatthew Gross, a Graduate from Charis Bible College, will be hosting a class at Word of Life through Charis Bible Studies on “Spirit, Soul, Body” that will run on Tuesdays from 7-8:30pm beginning June 21. Register online at charisbiblestudies.net.

KIDS CHOIR SINGING AT WESTMORELAND ARTS & HERITAGE FESTIVAL JULY 3, 2 PM The children are preparing to minister in song on the main stage at Twin Lakes on Sunday, July 3, 2 pm.

Practice continues in Wave Walker Village on Wednesdays at 8:00 PM.

VACATION BIBLE SCHOOL: JULY 11-15, 9 AM-NOON Our FREE Vacation Bible School for ages 5-12 includes a free lunch!

This year’s theme is “Scar Force. The Real Saga. The True Force.” Through activities, games, crafts, music, and great Bible training, kids will see how they fit into the epic saga that is portrayed in God’s Word.

Complete a registration form, phone in registration, or complete online. Walk-ins are welcome, too!

LIGHT = LEANING INTO GOD’S HEALING TOUCH: TUESDAYS, 7-8:30 PM, WAVE WALKER VILLAGE LIGHT is a Christ-centered support group to help children who are dealing with divorce, death of a loved one, domestic violence,

and alcohol/drug abusing parents, depression, or other painful life situations. Our current session runs through July 5, marking the start of summer break.

“BLOOM” FOR MOTHERS OF PRESCHOOLERS Meets Wednesday mornings 9:30-11:30 AM in the Wave Walker kitchen. Child care is provided.

FAITH ACTION KIDS BAND: NEW MUSICIANS WELCOME Students who have taken musical instrument lessons in school continue to develop their skills while honoring Christ during practice

FATHER/DAUGHTER DINNER: FRIDAY, AUGUST 19, 6 PM IN OUR DINING HALLGirls ages 5-12 and their father or special gentleman guest enjoy a delicious candlelit dinner, make a keepsake craft,

and create a beautiful memory during the father/daughter dance. Cost is $9 per person. Tickets in Wave Walker Village and online.

SUMMER FUN NIGHTS DURING WEDNESDAY EVENING SERVICES Kids should wear play clothes and shoes to run in Wednesday evenings.

After worship and Bible lessons, a variety of fun events are planned throughout summer.

BUDDIES NEEDED FOR THE LOVE OF JESUS TO “SHINE” ON EVERY HEART SHINE is the name of our new ministry to include children of diverse abilities in our Christian education program, support their families,
