Is there a Casino entry criteria & a complex dress code? Yes. You must be 18+ to enter the Casino. Dress code is casual, neat & clean at all times. Find our dress code at www.reefcasino.com.au/play/casino-general-information, on our app & at the entrance to the Casino.

Do you cash cheques or have ATMS? Can I get cash out?

Cheque cashing facilities are available to approved applicants. We don’t give cash out at any register. There are three ATMs located in the foyer in front of Guest Services.

Do you have somewhere I can store my bag?

Hotel guests may leave bags with our Concierge until check-in or departure. All guests have access to lockers located under the stairs in the main complex foyer for a small fee.

I’d like information on & need some advice on places to go & things to see, can you help? Yes! Guest Services is an information hub where you can access iPads, maps & ask for touring advice. Our Concierge can also help with tour bookings & local information. There are two interactive kiosks located in the complex foyer. You can use the Way finder, selfie application, send an e-postcard, view restaurant menus & digital brochures.

Where can I buy souvenirs & gifts? Guest Services holds a range of quality merchandise for sale.

Where is breakfast served?

Breakfast is served in Tamarind for in-house guests & complex visitors. Exit the main doors on Abbott Street & access is to the left. In-house guests may like to take advantage of in-room dining service, see your compendium for details. Flinders Bar & Grill inside the Casino & Merchant also serve breakfast.

I have kids. Is there somewhere we can eat together? There are five dining options outside of the Casino – Merchant Café, Tamarind Restaurant, BAR36, Café China Restaurant & Noodle Bar.

Can I take the kids along to see my favourite band in BAR36? Do I have to book & how much are tickets? Minors are allowed in BAR36 & the complex if they’re accompanied & supervised by a responsible adult. You may be committing a criminal offence if you leave a child under the age of 12 years unattended. Our discretionary house policy states that minors are allowed in the bar until 9pm, however may remain in the surrounds after that time. Parental discretion applies, but please be aware in the evening, the bar environment is more suited to adults 18+. All entertainment in BAR36 is FREE. No bookings or tickets required. It’s suggested to get in early to get a seat or prime position for the touring acts, as the foyer area does fill up very quickly.


I’m nervous & don’t know how to play the gaming tables. What do I do? The number one rule is ask! Any of our gaming staff will be happy to answer questions about the games if you are not sure how they’re played. How To Play brochures are on our website or at Guest Services in hard copy or on the iPads.

Can I get a drink brought to me while I play in the Casino?

Absolutely! If you are table gaming, just notify your Dealer & if you are electronic gaming, simply press the drink service button on your machine.

Do I have to register for Texas Hold ‘em?

It’s not a requirement to register, however people who register are guaranteed a seat at the table over a player who has not pre-booked. Tables are open Thu to Sun from 7pm in the Casino Sports Arena. Buy in $50 - $500 | Blinds $2.50 / $5.00. Register at Guest Services or 4030 8774.

Can I tip my Dealer or Gaming Attendant? Gaming staff are not permitted to accept tips at any time.

Where do I buy chips & where can I use cash chips?

All chips can be purchased at the Cash Desk or gaming tables, however only cashed in at the Cash Desk. When purchasing gaming chips at the tables, place your money on the table & not in the Dealer’s hand. Bets are made using gaming chips. Clearly marked cash chips may also be used at tables or to pay for Keno.


Do you have jackpot games & how much to play the machines? Our gaming machines give you a choice of denominations & we have a large range of progressive jackpots.

What is Card Play & how do I get a Visitor Card? Card Play is a transfer card system that allows you the flexibility of transferring credits & cash out on gaming machines without waiting for a payment slip. You can move easily between machines. Grab a Visitor Card at one of the stands inside the Casino or Guest Services. It will remain valid for play up to 48 hours from your last transaction. Remember to cash out before you leave & place the card in the return slot in the card stand.

How do I gain access to the VIP Gaming Rooms?

Club Privè is our exclusive gaming room. Entry is by invitation only. You can access information on our website or see Guest Services for details. The Diamond Room is our VIP Electronic Gaming Room. Access is provided to eligible members & guests. Guest Services can provide information on eligibility & play criteria.

My footy team is playing tonight. Is there somewhere I can watch the game?

The Casino Sports Arena will screen any sport they have access to. Ask the Gaming Manager or Bar Staff if they can display the telecast you seek.
