Directions are instructions used in following the steps of doing thing.


How To Use a Drilling Machine

Note: Before you touch the drilling machine, checkthat the power is off.

1.(First, you) insert the key in the chuck.2.(Then, you) rotate the key clockwise until the

jaws are open.3.(Next) insert the bit between the jaws.4.(Finally, you)Rotate the key anticlockwise until

the jaws are closed.5.Before, use the drill, make sure that the bit is

tight.

Punctuation is the practice or system of using certain conventional marks or characters to make clear the meaning of written or printed language.

1.Period (.)A period is used at the end of the sentence.Example :-I go to school.-I’m handsome.-You’re beautiful.


2.Comma (,)A comma is used when there are more one item mentioned in the sentence. Comma is also used when we want to separate things in list.Example:-I have a book, a pen, and a ruler.

-I like banana, grape, and apple.


3.Question mark (?)It is used in interrogative sentence.Example:-Do you like me?-What’s on your mind?-What’s happening?


4.Exclamation mark (!)It used to write command.Example:-Stand up!-Don’t disturb!-Let’s pray!


5.Colon (:)It’s used before mentioning some items or explanation.Example:- We should prepare: a computer, a charger, and a modem.- I must buy : two kilos onion, a kilo sugar, and some eggs.
