ALL-CHURCH DINNER: REBOOT SUNDAY Sunday, September 10, 6:15pm, Creekside Come to the Creekside Crossings service and stay for an All- Church Sunday Dinner, with our new District Superintendent Shinya Goto as our special guest. Our ministry team will form a panel to speak about plans for the year. The menu includes French onion bruschetta, lemon chicken piccata, Brazilian rice pilaf, green bean and sweet potato medley, salad, and blackberry cobbler with vanilla ice cream. We have updating the pricing to better reflect the cost to the church to put on All-Church Dinners. Dinner costs $15 for adults, $10 for children 10–17, and free for children under 10. Children will have a separate program during the panel conversation. You can pay in advance or at the door, but we ask that you RSVP online (www.laumc.org/reboot- dinner) by September 5 for food and childcare planning purposes. All are invited! COME TO FALL CHURCH CAMP Friday–Sunday, October 13–15, Camp Lodestar Fall is a beautiful time at Camp Lodestar, offering turning leaves, cool evenings, and a time to step away from the hectic pace of everyday life in the Silicon Valley. Join a group of church folks for a weekend to worship, pray, share stories, and prepare the camp for fall and winter guests. Since we will be doing service, we can get a discounted rate of $80/person for lodging and meals for the weekend. OUTREACH CONNECTION: K-12 TEAM Today, all services Founder Carol Nunnally will speak about K-12 Team, a nonprofit that serves students in Los Altos and Mountain View schools. All funds donated to our Outreach Connection offering will be used to provide K-12 Team’s services at an affordable cost to participating families. K-12 Team’s vision is to provide a community educational center for any student in our area, because schools are overloaded with students needing additional educational support. Thank you for helping K-12 Team serve these at-risk students! ARTS ALIVE! SUNDAY Today, 9:00am–1:30pm, Creekside Celebrate God’s great gift of creativity in our lives and in the life of our congregation! Artists from our church have displayed their works in a variety of media. Stop by Creekside to see how your friends and pew-neighbors use their God-given talents.
