REQUIREMENTS : In order to compete in EDCA, you must qualify in the following criteria:

- Must have one of the following: a.) Demilitarized 1903A3 Springfield.b.) Demilitarized M1 Garand. c.) Daisy Drill Rifle.d.) M1 Replica/ DrillAmerica™

- Signed and turned in the Rights and Waiver Forms.

PRIZES:- First Place Solo winner will receive cash price. - First Place Solo winner will receive EDCA certificate,

- First Place Solo winner will receive EDCA Regionals Invitional Drill Meet * - First Place Solo winner will receive Districts first place certificate.

- Second Place Tandem winners will receive cash price.- Second Place Tandem winners will receive EDCA certificate.

- Second Place Tandem winners will receive EDCA Regionals Invitional Drill Meet * - Second Place winner will receive Districts second place certificate.

- Driller’s Choice will receive EDCA certificate.- Driller’s Choice will reive EDCA Regionals Invitional Drill Meet * *Applies to future EDCA events, winners listed will progress from District Competition to Regionals Invitional Drill Meet

TIME & DRILL FLOOR : Floor Space and Performance time.

- The allotted time for a Solo Routine is 2:30 to 5:00- The allotted time for a Tandem routine is 3:00 to 5:00- Time and Judging starts exactly at your first movement. - Points will be deducted for routines below and above the minimum and maximum given time- The Drill floor measurement is:

a.) 33x33 for Solo (see diagram below)b.) 40x40 for Tandem (see diagram below)

- Any part of the competitor's body or rifle passing the drill floor will receive penalty and point deduction from overall score.

- Head Judge (HJ) is placed at the center edge where competitors are to report in- Reporting In:

a.) Soloist must state NAME AND AFFLIATION.b.) TANDEM must state BOTH NAME AND AFFLIATION.

- Competitors may enter the drill floor from anywhere they choose. However, must exit from the same area.

UNIFORM : This competition does not represent any branch of military service, country, or uniformed organizations.

Though a uniform isn't required to compete, those who do wish to wear one are rewarded extra points.

- Those who choose to wear uniforms must comply with the following rules: a.) Wear slacks in any color of their choice.b.) Wear a buttoned down, and neatly tucked in your pants shirt in any color of their choice. c.) Headgear (which includes but not limited to, baseball cap, helmets, berets etc). d.) Boots/shoes. Sneakers do not count as your uniform and you will not receive the extra points. e.) Everything else is up to your imagination, however please

dress appropriate.f.) Anyone dressed in obscene clothing will be automatically disqualified and will be asked to leave the

area. If you'll compete dressed as a civilian, please wear a shirt.

Weapon:Rifles Requirement

- Rifles must meet the following criteria and abide by the given standards.Eligible Weapons:

a.) Demilitarized 1903A3 Springfield.b.) Demilitarized M1 Garand. c.) Daisy Drill Rifle.d.) M1 Replica/ DrillAmerica™

- MUST have a rifle case! - Rifle MUST be a non operational, demil. (Demilitarized) rifle.

- Demil's. Must weigh the minimum of 8lbs .

Drillers Choice:

To continue our "For Drillers by Drillers" Standard, competitors will be able to vote for their favorite driller. This does not in any way impact the judges overall score, simply a vote for who they believe should take the prize home. "Drillers Choice" Winner will receive a certificate and a chance to continue on to Regionals*. *Applies to future EDCA events, winners will progress from District Competition to Regionals Invitional Drill

DISTRICTS:EDCA has been broken down the U.S. into districts. States with no EDCA affliated competitions are zoned

in to their nearest district (check the diagram below). In order to progress to Regionals* competitors MUST compete at their zoned areas. Competiting in multiple districts is acceptable. Winning other districts is also acceptable but will not allow you to progress to Regionals* (unless you won your assigned district. The winner of that area will move on.)

As EDCA continues to open up venues around the Nation, the district will also change. Please check back often for updates.

*Applies to future EDCA events, winners will progress from District Competition to Regionals Invitional Drill
