Combining Similar Terms using Algebra

Tiles

Each pair of students needs a package of algebra tiles. Have resource managers get these.

Rules for working with tiles:• Clear off your desks and put tiles on a piece of paper.• Pick up any tiles that drop on floor!• DO not break any tiles apart! The 5-unit tiles are

supposed to be attached.• Return them to the plastic bag after working with

them.
