Prayer of the Day Let us pray for mothers here and throughout our land.

Gracious God, you chose Mary to be the mother of you Son, Jesus Christ. As you blessed her through her

Son, bless all mothers, those here and within our community. Grant them patience, wisdom, strength

and joy, so that they may care for and love the children you have given to them and placed in their care. May Jesus, the Son of Mary, be their rock to give them strength and health and peace, so that they may be a rock for their family. We ask this

through Jesus Christ our Lord who lives and reigns with you and the Holy Spirit, one God,

now and forever. Amen.

settling South Australia’s postwar migrants did much to ensure a compassionate and humane approach in government migrant policies.

German Heritage Research Group History Festival seminar ‘German Music

Heritage in South Australia’, Saturday 20 May 2017, 9am-4.30pm. Ira Raymond Room, Barr

Smith Library, Adelaide University. Stories from Luther to Liedertafel: hymns, choirs,

bands, conservatorium and concert hall, pipe organs and pianos.

Glynde Lutheran Church (Zion congregation, 15-17 Glynburn Rd,

Glynde) invites former members and visitors to join them at the official

opening of its recently redeveloped building on Sunday 28th May at 10 am,
