IMPLEMENTATION TEAM IS READY TO PRESENT RECOMMENDATIONS The Implementation Team will begin presenting their Strategic Actions Plans On Sunday evening, November 11, from 5 - 8 in the FLC. Everyone is encouraged to attend this important gathering as we consider the action plans resulting from the feedback from our Future Vision process. Nursery will be provided for the little ones and regular activities for children and youth will take place allowing parents to participate. And yes, we will make sure to provide a light meal to nourish us for the task. This will be the first of several presentations and discussion opportunities. BOOK FAIR TODAY WMU is sponsoring an Usborne Book Fair this morning Sunday, October 21st in the Welcome Center. Quality children's books will be on display for purchase or you may purchase books directly online at www.booksaremoore.com. All proceeds will benefit children in Allendale through the ministries of CBFSC.

FIRST BAPTIST CHURCH OF CLEMSON OCTOBER 2012 CLEMSON COMMUNITY CARE FOOD DRIVE

Our church is hosting a food drive to support Clemson Community Care (CCC) throughout the month of October. As we approach the holiday season, the success of this drive will be critical to CCC’s ability to meet the needs of their clients. Each family is encouraged to bring food donations each Sunday & Wednesday. The following are the suggested items for this week. Week of October 28 focus on Dry Pasta, Tomato Sauce and Mixed Vegetables You can also make a monetary contribution to Clemson Community Care which will be used to purchase specialty foods by sending a check to CCC, PO Box 271, Clemson, SC 29633. Please indicate First Baptist Church food drive on the memo line. Thank you for supporting this very important missional initiative.

SEEKERS GROUP TUESDAY, OCTOBER 23

The Seekers WMU group will meet for a dinner meeting at Pot Belly Deli 6-7 PM on Tuesday, October 23. Any woman interested in this Mission Action group is invited to attend. Call Gail Marion at 654-5461 to get on the reservation list.

PINK SUNDAY SUNDAY, OCTOBER 28

October is Breast Cancer Awareness Month, which is an annual campaign to increase awareness of the disease. We are designating Sunday, October 28, as Pink Sunday at FBCC. So wear pink next Sunday as we celebrate survivors, remember for those who have died and share hope for a cure.
