Our School Aims and Mission Statement

God’s love is at the heart of our Catholic school

community. We show this in our respect, kindness

and love for others and by treating other people as

we wish to be treated ourselves. We encourage

everyone in our school family to do the best they

can.

Golden Rules – the children were involved in formulating them

Page 4: WELCOME! Mrs Reid and Mrs Hull(2R) – St. Rose Mrs May Mrs Ingram (2C) – St. Catherine Mrs Riley(Mon, Tues) Mrs Monahan (Wed, Thurs, Fri)

“We like to think of our champions and idols as superheroes who were born different from us. We

don’t like to think of them as relatively ordinary

people who made themselves extraordinary.”

“no matter what your ability is, effort is what ignites that ability and turns it into accomplishment.” ― Carol S. Dweck, Mindset: The New Psychology Of Success

Growth Mindset

KS1 SATS 2016

The children's progress is measured by a process of continuous assessment- to know exactly where the children are in their learning. Use of targets to move them onto the next step.

Teacher assessment will determine the overall progress that is reported at the end of the year.

All tests taken are merely a guideline.
