BiographiesHi I’m Jennifer Nelson. It is such a privilege to join the Lake Elmo Kindergarten team and be a part of the committee developing a new immersion program here. I have been teaching elementary school for 25 years. For the past 8 years I have taught kindergarten in a Spanish dual immersion program in St. Paul. My first teaching position was at the American Nicaraguan School in Managua, Nicaragua, where I taught 2nd, 3rd and 4th grades, including multi-age classes. While there, I earned my Master’s Degree in Elementary Education and learned to speak Spanish. I look forward to working and learning with this community.
