What’s New?

New Business

• 7th-12th Grade Reading Center

– Selection of non-fiction and fiction coded with “Young Adult” yellow sticker.

– Goal is to get students to get into a habit of checking out books/magazines.

– Lower school students will not be permitted to peruse or checkout anything from this special rack of materials.

– Yes, magazines may go home for a 24-hour period.

Upper School Reading Club

• Planning stages – Your input is welcomed!

Meet once a month in the library at lunch time

Lunch or snacks will be served

Students must be “enrolled” as members

Passes will be provided from the library

• Teacher resources:

– Literature lesson plans

– Teaching guides

– Worksheets for special events
