Weight around the solar system
Gravity acts on our mass, pulling us down to Earth and giving us our weight.
A mass of 1kg has the weight of 10N on Earth therefore the Earths gravitational field strength is 10N/Kg.
But, gravity depends on the size of the body producing it, so gravity around the solar system changes..and so does your weight.
1. Find out your mass in Kg using the balance.
2. Fill in the table below and work out your weight around the solar system.
3. Where in the solar system would you weigh the most and where would you weigh the least.
