MTConnections Complete™, Version 2.2 is your complete solution for connectivity from METTLER TOLEDO® weighing equipment to your PC. This versatile software is flexible enough to be used for applications as simple as gathering net weight data or as complex as aiding process control with METTLER TOLEDO® terminals such as the JagXtreme®. MTConnections™ Complete provides drop-in software components compatible with many of today’s most widely used software packages, such as Microsoft® Excel, Access and Visual Basic. Users can produce reports, charts and graphs, build databases, and more with the help of MTConnections™ Complete. Gather weight data for statistical control, record transactions, monitor the health of your scale and much more from any PC.

Package Weight Data

A manufacturing plant needs to continuously monitor produc-tion totals, number of rejects, average weight and other critical process data. Shipments to major customers require this production data as part of their routine Supplier Audits. With MTConnections™ Complete and a simple Visual Basic ap-plication, the manufacturer can enable all 32 of their METTLER TOLEDO® ExpressCheck checkweighing systems to write data into a central Microsoft® Access database.

Pharmaceutical Batch Data

A pharmaceutical manufacturer uses the METTLER TOLEDO® Q.iMPACT Material Controller for automated batch and formula-tion control. MTConnections™ Complete allows the Q.i. Matroller to write the process results of each batch to a local PC where the data can then be further analyzed and integrated with other data.

How does it work?

MTConnections™ Complete utilizes Microsoft® ActiveX® controls to transfer data between the weighing terminal and the PC application. Setting it up is as easy as 1, 2, 3.

1) Open a template or continuous data connection on your METTLER TOLEDO® weighing terminal.

2) Install MTConnections™ Complete on your PC and open a new connection for your terminal.

3) Open a software program that supports ActiveX® Controls, insert the desired control just as you would a picture, and the control will populate with data.

That’s it! Now you have a working application that transfers data from the scale directly into your application.
