Discovery Class . . . This 8-week course on basic Christian teachings, especially for those interested in joining

Kid’s Night OutNeed to recover after all the Christmas festivities? How about a date night? Or do you just need a

night at home without the extra pitter patter of little feet? Let our high school and college youth

take care of your kids for an evening of dinner, playtime, and a movie in a Christian environment.

Suggested donation is $15 for the first child and $5 for each sibling. We will be providing care on

Friday, January 2. All proceeds go to assists the students with their summer mission trips.

New Bible StudyThe Monday evening Ladies Bible study will begin “Twelve Women of the Bible” on Monday, January

5, 7:00 p.m. at the La Vista Site in room 216. Unearth fresh insights for you life from women who lived

thousands of years ago. During each stand-alone session you will discover lessons from each of the

Biblical women that will help you persevere through circumstances you are facing today. Please

Ladies Bible StudyJoin us for a new Women’s Bible Study on Thursday, January 8, 9:00 a.m. We will be studying “Sermon

on the Mount” by Jen Wilkin. This study will challenge us to think differently about what it means to be

a follower of Jesus, a citizen of the kingdom of heaven. This study is led by Nancy Weiss. Please

Health MinistryThe next Blood Drive will be held on Saturday, January 10, 7:00 a.m.-12:00 p.m. at the La Vista Site in the LowerFellowship Hall.

210 ProjectThe 210 Project is a 12 session study based on Ephesians 2:10, that is designed to help

you answer two pressing questions to help you find your place in God’s story. Our

next session will begin on Saturday, January 10 and Sunday, January 11. Contact

Grief Support GroupThis group is open to anyone, men or women, who are dealing with grief. The group will begin meeting every

other month on Tuesday, January 13 at 7:00 pm in the Lower Fellowship Hall.

Worship RetreatThis retreat for confirmation students will be held on Friday, January 16, 6:00-9:30 p.m. at the La Vista

site in the Student Center. There will also be an optional lock-in starting at 10:00 p.m. Everyone

Women’s ConnectionThe next Women’s Connection brunch will be held on Saturday, January 17, 9:30 a.m. at the La

Vista Site in the Lower Fellowship Hall. The speaker will be Peggy Lee from Prairie Village, KS and her

topic is “Surviving Life’s Detours.” We will also be featuring Origami Owl. Please join us for this fun

Financial Peace UniversityThe next Financial Peace University class will be held Mondays, 6:00-8:00 p.m. beginning January

19. This class will be held at the Northwest Site (15656 Fort Street). Free childcare will be available
