REMOTE TEACHING SESSION: 10.30am – 11.30am daily
Prep students will receive a 1 hour face to face remote teaching session with their teacher each day. These sessions will be
run using Webex and will focus on Reading, Writing, Maths or Inquiry.
The link to your child’s Webex meeting is listed in the table below. Instructions on how to access your child’s Webex meeting
are available on Sentral.
Advice for accessing your child’s Webex meeting:
Please log on 5 minutes before the start time.
Ask your child to organise the resources they will need prior to the start time.
When signing in, please use your child’s name as this will be the name displayed to their teacher during the meeting.

Task Introduce: Letter ‘ue’

Make an origami dog.
Step 1: Watch the ClickView

Step 3. Make an origami dog as per the
instructional video.
Step 4. Share your origami dog with
someone in your house. Discuss what
materials you needed and how you
made your origami dog.
Step 5. Complete origami dog Seesaw
sequencing activity.
Flower Garden
Step 1: Draw 20 flowers with long
stems (flowers should begin small and
get bigger).
Step 2: Write numbers 1-20 in the
middle of the flowers.
Step 3: Using an ink pad or paint and
your fingerprint, make the flower leaves
match the number inside the flower.
*Continue flowers up until 20
Step 4: Point to each number and practice counting forwards and then backwards.

Your origami dog from previous day.
Piece of paper or scrapbook.
Writing pencil.
Giraffes
Step 1: Listen to the story ‘Giraffes’

Have a discussion with someone in
your house about whether you think the
story is ‘Fiction’ or ‘Non-Fiction'.
Remember Fiction stories have
made up characters and events
and Non-Fiction stories are real
books that inform, teach and
explain.
Step 3: Draw something that you learnt
about giraffes. Make sure that it is
something that is true. Please see the
example below.
BINGO!
Step 1: Write numbers 1-20 on some
paper and cut them up and place inside
a container.
Step 2: On paper, use a ruler to draw a
grid with 5 lines across and 5 lines
vertically so that you end up with 25
boxes (make 2 game boards so you
can play with a partner).
Step 3: Write numbers on each square
on the grid in a random order. You may
need some help from an adult.
Step 4: Pull out one number at a time
from the container. If the number you
call out is on your grid, cover it with an
item or cross it out.
Step 5: The first player to fill in five
squares in a row (vertically,
horizontally, or diagonally) can jump up
and yell, "Bingo!"
