Monday 06.22.20 – Contractor performed patching operations on damaged P-401 material on bottom lift from “Lot #1”, “Lot #2”, “Lot #8”, and “Lot #9” that were damaged from coring operations by Contractor on 6/19/2020. Contractor performed grinding operations on P-401 bottom lift material placed on Connector. Contractor installed Edge Drain Pipe Daylights. Contractor continued installation of Edge Drain Cleanouts. Contractor placed P-603 and P-401 material for “Lot #21” on top mat, where “Lot 14 – Test Strip #3” and “Lot #15 -Test Strip #4” had been removed by mill. Contractor installed Counterpoise Wire and Grounding Rods as well as began the replacement of Guidance Sign on east side of Connector that was damaged during paving operations in 2019. Contractor performed initial profilograph testing on P-401 material on Runway and diamond grinding on bottom mat of Connector. Tuesday 06.23.20 – Contractor installed Edge Drain Pipe Daylights. Contractor continued installation of Edge Drain Cleanouts. Contractor graded north Runway shoulder and placed material for east end drainage berm. Contractor placed P-603 and P-401 material for “Lot #22” on top mat of Connector. Contractor installed Counterpoise Wire and Grounding Rods as well as began cutting through asphalt for Runway Threshold Lights. Contractor concluded initial profilograph testing on top lift of P-401 on Runway. Wednesday 06.24.20 – Contractor continued installation of Edge Drain Cleanouts. Contractor finished placement of P-401 material for “Lot #22 – Partial Lot” on top mat of Connector. Contractor installed Runway Edge Lights and prepared for the placement of Concrete for Runway Threshold Light Cans. Thursday 06.25.20 – Contractor completed installation of Edge Drain Cleanouts. Contractor installed Runway Edge Lights, Counterpoise Wire, and Grounding Rods. Contractor continued P-401 waste cleanup, Topsoil placement, Runway shoulder grading, and HMA plant demobilization. Contractor placed P-610 material for Runway Threshold Light Cans. Friday 06.26.20 – Contractor continued P-401 waste cleanup, Topsoil placement, Runway shoulder grading, and HMA plant demobilization. Contractor installed Earthen Irrigation Ditch for Irrigation System “A”. Saturday 06.27.20 – No work was performed on site. Sunday 06.28.20 – Contractor installed Runway Edge Lights, Runway Threshold Lights, Counterpoise Wire, and Grounding Rods.

Monday 06.22.20 – Contractor performed patching operations on damaged P-401 material on bottom lift from “Lot #1”, “Lot #2”,

and HMA plant demobilization. Contractor placed P-610 material for Runway Threshold Light Cans.

Friday 06.26.20 – Contractor continued P-401 waste cleanup, Topsoil placement, Runway shoulder grading, and HMA plant

demobilization. Contractor installed Earthen Irrigation Ditch for Irrigation System “A”.

Saturday 06.27.20 – No work was performed on site.

Sunday 06.28.20 – Contractor installed Runway Edge Lights, Runway Threshold Lights, Counterpoise Wire, and Grounding Rods.

Charged (date) – Quality Control (QC) and Quality Assurance (QA) testing was performed on P-401 “Lot #21” and “Lot

#22” with no exceptions taken on initial acceptance criteria.

– Pay Factor reported as 106% for lots #21 and #22.

– Grade analysis performed by Engineer on P-401 “Lot #21” and “Lot #22” with no exceptions taken

on initial acceptance criteria.

– Grade analysis was performed on milled surface where “Lot 14 – Test Strip #3” and “Lot #15 -Test

Strip #4” had been removed as well as grind areas on bottom mat of Connector.

– P-610 QC concrete testing was performed on material delivered for Runway Threshold Light Cans

with entrained air, slump, and temperature reported being in conformance with the specifications. –

P-610 material that was to be placed on west Runway Threshold Light Cans was rejected due to

application time falling outside of the specified range of placement 1 hour after water had been

added to the mix.

6. Describe Anticipated Work by Contractor for Next Period

– Installation of Runway Edge Lights and other electrical items and perform electrical inspection with Electrical Engineer.

– Place Topsoil and regrade Runway Shoulders.

7. Problem Areas/Other Comments (Revisions to plans and specifications approved or denied, delays difficulties, etc., and actions taken.)

– Calendar day 475 of 140 for runway shutdown.

– No weather days granted during this period.

– Contractor is anticipating liquidated damages for working days overage at the end of the project.

– On May 17, 2020, per the contract documents, the Contractor submitted a letter on notice of intent to submit claim related to

survey secondary control elevations. Claim included time for rework, standby time and potentially related to asphalt placement in

2019.
