Lord, we live in fear and uncertainty as we experience the Coronavirus. Be our strength and our hope. Give healing to
those affected and protection to all of us. We ask you to calm our fears and trust in You. We also ask the prayers of
Our Lady of Prompt Succor, St. Joseph, and Blessed Seelos to strengthen us in this time of need.
Our Lady of Prompt Succor….Hasten to Help us. St. Louis King of France…Pray for us.
SPIRITUAL COMMUNION
Dear Jesus, I believe that You are truly present in the Blessed Sacrament.
I love you and desire You above all things.
Since I cannot receive You sacramentally at this time, please
come spiritually into my heart.
I embrace You as being already with me and I unite myself totally to You.
I in Thee and Thy in me,
in time, in eternity, in Mary.
Amen
Since masses have been curtailed, here is a version of the Eucharist you can celebrate with your family
¨ Archbishop Aymond has cancelled all public masses, but priests are still allowed to celebrate private mass.
¨ Father Suvakin and myself will offer private mass for all of those for whom
masses have been requested. We do not need to wait for the particular times scheduled. However, those people WILL have mass offered for them.
¨ Becky will be accepting mass intention requests remotely. These mass
intentions will be posted on our parish website. Included, you will find information that we hope are helpful to parishioners during this time of “personal distance” and homebound prayer. 1. Healing Prayer Holy Virgin of Guadalupe,
Queen of the Angels and Mother of the Americas. We fly to you today as your beloved children. We ask you to intercede for us with your Son,
as you did at the wedding in Cana.
Pray for us, loving Mother, and gain for our nation and world,
and for all our families and loved ones, the protection of your holy angels,
that we may be spared the worst of this illness.
For those already afflicted, we ask you to obtain the grace of healing and deliverance.
Hear the cries of those who are vulnerable and fearful, wipe away their tears and help them to trust.
In this time of trial and testing, teach all of us in the Church to love one another and to be
patient and kind. Help us to bring the peace of Jesus to our land and to our
hearts.
We come to you with confidence, knowing that you truly are our compassionate mother,
health of the sick and cause of our joy.
Shelter us under the mantle of your protection, keep us in the embrace of your arms,
help us always to know the love of your Son, Jesus.
Amen.
