DISCUSSION QUESTIONS

How have you been able to live a life of humility & gentleness, bearing with one another in love? If the Church really lived this way, what would the impact be on the world?

Hugh Halter states, “we are to be the truth… in plain view of onlookers who watch us live out our truth.” (Pg.113) How would you describe this “truth” to a nonbeliever? How are you doing living out this “truth?

Our author states “If you run into someone with views you passionately disagree with, but Jesus and His atoning work on the cross are central to the person’s life, then you cannot write him off or boot him out of the family.” (Pg.125) Explain the significance of this quote. How is this good news?
