messages, photographs, videos, assessments, best practices and links.

Parents can connect to several entities that are part of their children's education such as schools, activities schools, languages and sports centres, tutors or other educational agents. Weduc is a
secure and private environment built on collective intelligence forthe benefit of a better education

Parents know best
As well as allowing them to follow their children's activities and progress in school, Parents can also register their Parents'
Association on Weduc and interact with other members with full security and privacy.

How to create your Parents' Association on Weduc:
1. Go to the Weduc website (www.weduc.com)
and create your account by choosing the
'Association member' profile.
2. Complete your registration and check if
your Association is already registered on
Weduc. If not, you can create its profile by
clicking on 'The association is not listed'.

3. When creating your Association, please
fill in the information details and indicate
who the manager is. Select 'I am the
manager', if that is the case, or provide
the name and contact of one of the
managers.
4. Done! Weduc will validate all
information provided. After it has been
validated, your Association profile will be
activated and the manager can then start
inviting other users.

Some features on Weduc will be unavailable until the Association profile is validated by our services.
While the validation process takes place, you can start building your network by sending connection
requests to schools or entities you are connected to in real life as a Director, Teacher or Parent. With
a single password, you will be able to access all your different profiles on Weduc.
You can expand your network at any time and add a new profile to your account by going to
'Weduc Network' (on the upper menu bar) and selecting 'My network'.

How to organise your Association on Weduc
Parents know best
1. Each Manager has complete control over an
Association profile on Weduc, once it has
been validated. They can then click on the
Association's logo and complete its profile
information by selecting 'Edit Association
profile'.
2. Go to 'Manage Structure' to create one or
more rooms and to better organise your
Association. There is, by default, only one
room - the 'General Assembly'. Users have
access only to the content shared in the
rooms they are connected to, while managers
have access to all rooms in an Association.

3. You can now invite Members on the
'Managing Users' menu. Enter their e-mail
addresses and choose the type of profile these
users will have and the rooms they will be
connected to on the platform. An activation link
will be sent to their e-mail accounts and, once it
has been activated, they will be connected to
your Association. As an alternative, these
invitations can be printed as a PDF file.
4. To accept or decline connection requests to
your Association, go to 'Manage Users', 'Manage
Accesses' and finally 'Requests'.

5. Managers can also connect Members
to other rooms or change those
connections at any moment by going to
'Manage Users' and clicking then on
'Manage Members'.
6. If you want make possible for
Members to invite others to your
Association, go to 'Manage permissions'
and change the settings for the users of
your choice.

Association Public Profile
Each Association has a profile page on Weduc
that can be visited by users and non-users of the
platform.
User multiprofile
Each user in an Association can navigate on
Weduc with their different profiles.
There are two profiles for Associations – Managers
and Members – which can be added to the other
types of profile on the platform. Each member can
be connected to more than one entity under the
same account.

Central box to communicate with Members
Members can easily share information, documents
and images with their Association through the
sharing box on their main pages. Users in each
Association can interact with that content by
clicking on 'Like' or by writing comments.
Digital Library
All users have a Digital Library where files and links
can be stored and organised. Users are able to
share that content with others by selecting who it
will be made available to. It is possible to share files
with specific committees within the Association.
Associations have also a public digital library where
files can be made available for non-users of the
platform.

Integrated Calendar
On Weduc, each user's Calendar includes all events
associated to the Associations, Schools, Classes and
Groups they are connected to. Once an event is created
by an Association, the calendar of all its members will be
updated accordingly. It is possible to create events that will
be only visible to some commitees within the Association
or to organise members by groups with specific calendars.
Sending private messages
On Weduc, you can send private messages to all users in
an Association. Messages can be exchanged between
members and it is not necessary to provide the recipient's
e-mail address. Each user's contact list will include all
members in the Association.

Special messages
Users can send special messages such as invitations
and check the replies as soon as they are sent. They
can also generate and print these replies as a list.
When Members receive a Special Message, they are
able to reply automatically by choosing one of the
options presented.
Best practices and Tutorials
Each Association can share with other members or
users on Weduc their Best Practices and Tutorials on
how to develop activities and accomplish tasks.

Creating groups
It is possible to create groups on Weduc, where users can
come together to communicate, to share documents and
images and to participate in discussion boards. Groups
can be invitation-only (e.g. a groups of teachers from a
group of schools) or can be open to all users on Weduc.
The Association's public profile
An Association's public profile is the place where users can
get information on the institution, such as basic details,
contacts, geo-reference and image gallery. Also included
is an editing tool (micro blog) for text and images, and
users can rate the school or write comments. Managers
can also choose to include the professional profile of each
manager or member.
