• To understand what different types of holidays there are out there.

• To think about what people get out of their holiday.

Lesson Objectives


What sort of holiday would you not like to go on?


The Apprentice!!!

• You have to select a holiday you would not like to go on.

• You are going to be a travel company for this holiday

• You then have to come up with a TV advert to try to get people to book a holiday with your company.

• You should come up with;1. A storyboard of what your advert will be2. A slogan for your company / holiday3. A convincing pitch for the boardroom.


THE BOARDROOM

• I am Sir Alan Sugar!!!!!

• You are going to pitch your holiday to me and the rest of the class.

• Once every group has pitched their holiday we will have a vote on which we would like to go on (you cannot vote yourselves). The

group with the least votes will be FIRED!!!


Plenary – The Vote

• On the piece of paper – write the name of the TYPE OF HOLIDAY not the name of the group!!

• While the votes are counted, pack away and sit down quietly.
