In 1928, 33 young farm boys gathered in Kansas City's Baltimore Hotel and chartered a course of the future.

Since 1928, millions of agriculture students - no one knows exactly how many - have donned the official FFA jacket and championed the FFA

creed. FFA has opened its doors and its arms to minorities and women, ensuring that all students could reap the benefits of agricultural

education.Today, the National FFA Organization remains committed to the individual student, providing a path to achievement in premier leadership, personal growth and career success through

agricultural education. Now, the organization is expanding the nation's view of "traditional" agriculture and finding new ways to infuse

agriculture into the classroom. 80 years ago they could not have foreseen how the organization would

grow and thrive.Today with over ½ a million FFA members around the country, the words of E.M Tiffany's FFA creed still holds the true meaning of the

organization. All Freshman in Ag Classes have to learn the FFA Creed. The FFA Creed

is a basic statement of beliefs and a common bond between all members.

Over the past 80 years members have taken the meaning of the creed and carried it with them throughout their lives

…..will you dare to do the same???

This will teach students to look deep into the words of the FFA creed in a way that they would otherwise have not done. It will make them really think about the words that they have just memorized and develop a personal connection to the creed that they will hopefully carry with them for the rest of their life.
