SUMMARY The Senior Accountant is responsible for performing accounting related tasks in the areas of Cash Management and Treasury for multiple RCS-managed real estate entities. This position is also responsible for the day-to-day accounting for multiple RCS- related holding companies. Successful candidates will have a good working knowledge of Accounting, Finance and internal control principles. Preference will be given to those applicants who have experience in a multi-entity environment. RESPONSIBILITIES Prepare journal entries from cash inflows for the following types of transactions: o Corporate management fees and chargebacks o Commercial tenant receivables o Real estate sales o Loan closings & draws o Third-party and private equity distributions o Project contributions/distributions Prepare bank deposits for the above transactions

SUMMARYThe Senior Accountant is responsible for performing accounting related tasks in the areas of Cash Management and Treasury for multiple RCS-managed real estate entities. RESPONSIBILITIES Prepare journal entries from cash inflows for the following types of transactions:

o Corporate management fees and chargebackso Commercial tenant receivableso Real estate saleso Loan closings & drawso Third-party and private equity distributionso Project contributions/distributions

Prepare bank deposits for the above transactions Automation of the entire cash receipt process, including depositing funds and

recording transactions Prepare bank reconciliations for RCS-managed bank accounts Prepare daily and periodic cash balance reports Prepare monthly journal entries, account reconciliations and financial statements

for multiple RCS-related holding companies Assist in initiating wire/ACH transactions for loan payments and other cash

transactions and preparing journal entries related to such transactions Special projects as assigned by the Assistant Treasury Manager

QUALIFICATIONS Bachelor’s degree in Accounting required Minimum 4-6 years of Accounting experience Highly organized, detail oriented and able to multi-task proficiently while

prioritizing work Strong work ethic and a self-starter MRI and Sage Timberline accounting software experience is a plus Proficient in Microsoft Word, Power Point and Excel with the ability to prepare

advanced spreadsheets, reports and general business correspondence

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS Ability to comply with company rules and regulations. Ability to communicate effectively and courteously with internal and external

customers through two-way verbal and written communication (speech, hearing, and writing)

Ability to operate various office equipment including, computer, telephone, fax, copier, calculator

Ability to meet deadlines as directed by management Ability to write and see things in close proximity Ability to work independently and refer appropriate matters to supervisor when

necessary Ability to comprehend written and verbal communication
