UNIT Theme: the value of dreams Why do we dream? Dreams inspire and drive us. They help show us the potential we have to reach our goals. Yet is there value to attaining/not attaining our dreams? While we read The Great Gatsby we will be exploring the value of dreams. Now we aren’t talking about dreams you have when you got to sleep, but rather goals and aspirations you have for your life. This novel deals A TON with dreams so in order to get us prepared to read this book we are going to narrow down what our dreams are. You will create a digital VISION BOARD! Vision boards are visual representations of your dreams and what you want to do in life. It can be on a Google slide or Google doc (landscape) or you can create a poster (but gather pictures today). You will share it with [email protected] There has to be pictures and words on it Make it your own. Put your dreams, goals, and bucket list items on your vision board! Do short term and long term dreams you have Have some that you could actually accomplish this year We will be doing something with this vision board when we begin The Great Gatsby!
