Career:

Head of Operations at Continental Powertrain (from April to September 2019)

Head of the Central Electronic Plants department at Continental AG (since April 2015) and member of the supervisory board of seven national subsidiaries (since January 2016)

Head of Operations in the Engine Systems business unit at Continental’s Powertrain division (from September 2010 to March 2015) and member of the extended division board (from January 2011 to March 2014)

Behr GmbH & Co. KG: Vice President Production Passenger Cars (from November 2002 to July 2007), Group Vice President Production and Logistics (from August 2007 to August 2010)

Various positions at Robert Bosch GmbH (from August 1996 to February 2002), latterly as head of the Quality Management ABS and Jetronic Systems department, Immenstadt

Started his career in 1990 at Fraunhofer Institute for Manufacturing Engineering and Automation (IPA), Stuttgart, from July 1993 head of the Production Management department, additionally from January 1996 deputy of the Business Management division

Hans-Jürgen Braun studied mechanical engineering (Dipl.-Ing.) and was awarded a doctorate from the University of Stuttgart for his thesis “Midterm personnel capacity planning with fuzzy logic”.
