Mas Des Lauiers (Blanc)Camille Lalaurie, the daughter of Jean-Charles, the owner and winemaker at this domaine, has now taken on most of the duties of wine production. 66. Volnay 1er Cru ‘Les Roncerets’, George Garaudet, Burgundy, France 63.95Volnays are often seen as the most delicate of Côte de Beaune reds - ‘charming’ is the word that usually springs to mind. However, Garaudet envelops this silkiness and roundness in a dense ‘cloak’ of rich fruit with an underlying backbone - we have been fortunate to secure a limited quantity of this wine.
