If learning on the part of the students has been helped by the use of a tool, then the tool has been used successfully.

WHAT IS THE WEB BASED METHOD?

• Is a method where you can use the Web as a source students can access to recover any information that would be useful to them.

• Not only can you use the Web to help distribute information - you can also place the information in a form that goes beyond text and takes advantage of the media that will help students understand better and to which they can relate more easily.

THE ROLE OF THE TEACHER IN WEB BASED INSTRUCTION METHOD

• The teacher must be a guide in the use of the tools, that means to assure the correct usage of each one of these resources.

• As the technology advances everyday the teacher has to catch up to the current technology that is the master piece in this method.

• It is necessary for the teacher to choose the best programs, platforms, and other tools for the correct students’ skills development and entertainment as well due to this method it is a essential part.

WHY TO USE IT?THERE ARE SOME REASONS TO USE THIS METHOD SUCH AS:

• enhancing student learning;• spending more time with students working in small groups or one-

on-one;• reducing repetitive teaching tasks;• reducing paper flow and management, and;• providing improved instructional materials.

HOW TO USE IT?• Working in digital learning platforms such as: Edmodo,

Richmore, Cambridge,etc.• Posting in forums and wikis for example SimplyDiscuss,

BBPress, WikiSpaces.• Using digital media: Photography, videos, music, e-books,

etc.• Applying the collaborative work through Google Drive.

• Easy updating of content

• Easy delivery of training to users

• Multitasking capability suitable for electronic performance support systems.

• We can establish deadlines which let us create responsibility and punctuality in our students.

• Browser limitations may restrict instructional methodologies

• Limited bandwidth means slower performance for sound, video, and intense graphics

• Someone must provide server access, control usage, bill users

• Students can get distracted easily with others stimuli for example social media and porn.
