DEAR FAMILY & FRIENDS,“Open your eyes and look at the fields! They are ripe for harvest.” -JOHN 4:35
As we look back on a year in which we have so much to be thankful for, we are
reminded of the words of our Savior; it is harvest time. This summer marked our 63rd
year of camp ministry on Geneva Lake. By God’s grace our programs and retreats
once again shared the Gospel with thousands of children, adults, and families. We
received hundreds of testimonies from those who came to know Jesus Christ as their
Savior during their stay. With your support we continue to be a place set apart for
life changing experiences in Christ. Your financial investment makes a difference and
allows us to take part in the harvest of lives that are changed by the love of God at
camp. Thank you for allowing us to share how you can help change a life today!
Every week we receive feedback on how camp has made such a big difference
in the lives of our guests and community. The following is just a sample of the
comments and letters we frequently get back from campers and guests:
We LOVED the chapels and the programming and the games... but nothing will probably ever be as impactful and meaningful as our small group and intimate group time. As for CAMP related things that are our favorite - chapels and meals. LGYC is fantastic!
– Youth Leader
The exposure to other believers and the openness to expressing one’s passion for Christ was impactful. The location provides the necessary distance from the distractions in normal life, and the setting displays the beauty of God. It’s a wonderful camp, and the experience as a whole is the most impactful part.

Without the generous giving
of friends, churches and
organizations for over 63
years at LGYC&CC, and 140
years at CPC, the continua-
tion of these ministries would
not have been possible. Your
continued financial support
really does help change lives.
Would you please consider one
of these specific areas where
you might direct your giving?
It takes many hands and faithful prayer warriors to keep our facilities running at their
best. Would you consider getting involved today? We need committed individuals
praying regularly for the vision of camp, the capital campaign, and the ongoing
outreach to youth and families. We also need volunteers dedicating their time and
talents to serving and furthering the Gospel for the Kingdom. Would you pray and/
or serve? Please contact Christiaan Snedeker at (262)248-5500 to get involved.
PRAY & SERVE 4
My daughter has really struggled with a lot this year, including a mental illness which put her in a hospital for one month. Camp is her constant and although we are a born again Christ centered home, it is camp that gets her every year. It is where she personally accepted Jesus as her Savior and where she is most touched. I am SO grateful and will never be able to say thanks enough for your hearts and ministry!

As a Ministry, Staff, and Board, we are so thankful for your support and partnership.
The impact on young people, adults, and families has been amazing. The few
short testimonies/stories in this letter are just a few examples of the thousands of
people we have been able to reach with your help.
We believe strongly that God has called us to a very big goal of one day reaching
50,000 people annually. That means nearly DOUBLING our current ministry and
programs! With the addition of the camp property at Conference Point Center
(CPC) and the expansion of our programs at LGYC/CC, we believe this can be
accomplished! It is a STRETCH GOAL no doubt! But we have a big God and enjoy
a wonderful legacy of committed volunteers, partners, and givers like you. We
invite you on this amazing journey over the next few years.
Your investment in the ministry here is more than just maintaining, repairing and
building new facilities. You are making a difference in the lives of young people,
families, and adults that will count for eternity. Your partnership helps preserve
our rich history while paving the way for a vibrant future that will allow the next
generation to enjoy life-changing camp and retreat activities and understand
what it means to know God personally.

3 SPECIAL GIFTS
In order to meet the demands of today’s campers,
families, and retreat guests, and to anticipate those of
future generations, the creation of a master ministry
and site facilities plan was initiated. LGYC&CC and
CPC have launched a capital campaign, encompassing
our broad ministry vision, which will allow for the
realization of our goal and dream of “reaching a
generation for Christ!” Your support will ensure that
the “Lake Geneva Camping Tradition” continues to
respond to the challenges and opportunities faced by
our camper families and churches.
We have made great progress in our Capital
Campaign, with over $1.3 million being invested by you,
our partners, in the past three years. Praise God! Since
January we have received donations toward several
key items on our special gifts list, engaged many new
CAPITAL CAMPAIGN2
LGYC&CC and CPC have the privilege of serving 25,000
children, adults, and families each year. We are committed
to the critical task of equipping people to make life choices
that reflect Godly character and instilling in them a passion
to live impactful lives for Christ. Our priority is to keep camp
and retreat fees affordable while providing an excellent
camp and conference experience, but the fees we charge
simply DO NOT cover the cost of providing a quality
platform for ministry.
The Camp Excellence Fund, or “Where Needed Most,”
provides resources for programs, projects, and other
miscellaneous expenditures that enable effective ministry.
One of the greatest ways you can give to the ministry here
is through a reoccurring unrestricted gift. In order to not
compromise the level of service, or increase prices to recoup
operating expenses, we rely on unrestricted gifts. If you
would like to become a Partner for Camp Excellence please
indicate your monthly giving on the response card.
Many of you have asked for specific gifts that you
can contribute to. Included is a wish list of the top 30

donors and partners, and have made notable progress
on several significant capital projects throughout our
grounds. Our short-term goal for the next 3 years is to raise
an additional $5.5 million. We are quickly advancing toward
this new goal and are excited to announce three new gifts
and pledges that have been made: $277,000 from the Faber
Family, $100,000 from the Gifford Family, and $515,000
from the Soderquist Family. These gifts and pledges will
allow us to continue to restore and revitalize the campuses
at both CPC and LGYC/CC and allow us to restructure and
reduce the debt at CPC.
There is much work yet to do. Please consider getting
involved through a financial donation towards our capital
campaign. Your gift, of any size, WILL make a difference.
God is at work here, changing hearts and lives. How does He
