Rules for Writing a ‘What am I?’ Riddle

• Write at least 6 clues about different things.

• Use present tense (mostly!)

• Try to be clever!

• Begin each sentence with a capital letter and end it with a full-stop, question mark or exclamation mark.

• Use a comma before but.

• Finish with a question – What am I?
