This is the most sa-cred time during the Mass. We want to honor the Blessed Sacrament in a special way during this time. Thank you.

Youth group kick off bon-fire!! High school - Sept 26, 7pm Middle school - Sept. 27, 6pm
Why should you join a youth group? Why should anyone?
Here are a couple of reasons why!
• In any friendship, we make mistakes. Being part of a Christian group means we believe in forgiveness.
• We look around our world and wish we could make a difference. In a Christian group, we are called to work together to make this a better world to live in.
• By ourselves, we don’t always feel close to God. Jesus promised that where two or three gather in his name – he is with them.
Thank you to all who generously do-nated to the people of the Diocese of Morogoro, Tanzania after Fr. Rogatus’ Mission visit.

In anticipation of Fr. Larry Richards’ Parish Mission we ask all to pray this special Pray-er for the success of
our mission.
Holy Father, great God of
love and mercy, You have surrendered
everything for love of us. May we learn
to surrender everything for love of You.
Fill us with Your Holy Spirit that we may
do Your will and not our own. Help us to
love you above all things and to love
Your people the way You have com-
manded us. Quiet our minds and hearts
that we may be open to the gift of your
truth, and grant that our Parish Mission
may be:
A time of Grace for all,
A time of growth for the young,
A time of refreshment for the old,
A time of renewal for families,
A time of healing for the broken,
A time of joy for the sorrowing,
A time of challenge for the complacent,
A time of forgiveness for the sinner,
A time of strength for the holy,
A time of homecoming for all who have
been away.
We beg you these things, Holy Father, in
Jesus’ name. Amen

Are you searching for a relationship with God? Do you want to learn more about the Catho-lic way of life? Are you interested in becom-ing a Catholic Christian? Were you baptized Catholic and want to complete the Sacraments? The RCIA (Rite of Christian Initiation of Adults) is a spiritual formation journey for those seeking to become Catholic. And it is happening every year at Our Lady Queen of Peace Parish! This spiritual journey is more than just faith for-mation – at its core, the RCIA is a journey of con-version and relationship with Jesus Christ and his Church. RCIA will be meeting every Sunday after the 11am Mass starting September 24, until the Sunday before Palm Sunday. If you want to learn more, or think you are being called to be-come Catholic, contact the office 610 681-6137 or [email protected].

Save the Date! Las Posadas A Journey to the Inn: An Advent Celebration Wednesday, December 13, 2017 6pm. Join us for an evening of simple reenactments of the story of Christ’s Birth. It will touch your heart as it did of all those at the very first one in the 16th Century! The Spanish missionaries referred to these reenactments as-Las Posadas, meaning “the inns” or “the shelters”. They give emphasis to Mary and Joseph’s search for shelter before Our Savior’s birth. This will surely be an evening of Joy and fellowship and most importantly help us all embrace the true meaning of the Christmas season!
SAVE THE DATE -- Please market your calendar for June 22-24 for next year's Flea Market. Pass along the dates to your friends & family too. Continue to watch the bulletin for more information about the fundraiser. If you have any questions, please call Kelli Krechel at 610-381-2642 or Lynn Smith at 570-350-2704.
