What People are Saying AboutThe Hart Group

Dear Amber, I would like to thank you for your swift and efficient manner in assisting me to purchasea new home. It has been great and smooth transition for me.My dog likes the new backyard already!Tanks again for your help and assistance. Best regards

    M. Morales

It was a privilege to work with Amber & her team while looking to purchase a home in Lakeway, exas.Amber has ample knowledge about real estate & she was always doing more than theaverage agent.I treasured her ability to advise me about inspections, utilities & financing: she wasalways there to help & support me during the whole process. Amber was always available, responsive, personable & patient. I would not hesitate to recommend Amber Hart & her team to any person whois looking to buy or sell a home.A. & M. Rakman

We had an excellent purchasing experience with Amber! Not only does she know the market, she

was a pleasure to work with! We will absolutely recommend her to anyone looking for a real estateprofessional! Tank you Amberwe could not be any happier!Jeremiah & Raye

We were very impressed with the service we received f rom the Amber Hart team. I have boughtand sold a few homes before with other realtors in the past. I now know what it is like to work witha great team and it makes a huge difference when they are great at their job. I always felt that thepricing advice we received from Amber was spot on, but what really stood out is the magic she pulledto get people out to the house. Selling a house is a numbers game, right pricesure, but getting thetraffic in the house is really the realtors job. It just takes 1 buyer, but it always seems like you need a

certain amount of viewers.Te Amber Hart team knows how to drive people to see the property.Additionally, they are always very responsive, professional and willing to jump in to handle any issues.I would absolutely use this team again!S. Alwais & M. Charneco

We have nothing but good to say about our experience with you in finding a home.We appreciate yourpatience with us while we searched for the perfect place! It was a pleasure working with a professionallike you who came to know our wants and handled every need. You, along with your team: Lionel &Joey, have made this journey so much easier. From a personal standpoint it was great getting to know youbetter as well. Tank you Amber!I. & D. Wilson

WHEN MY son enters his preschool classroom,

he heads straight for the dress-up binits

always a toss-up between the firefighter or the

construction worker. Imaginary play is necessary for young

children, but having a rich fantasy life is pretty important

for grownups too. We might have graduated from the dress-

up bin, but we engage in fantasy every day. It serves as a dis-

traction from the routine of our lives, as relief from stress,

and it has the power to boost our esteem in a multitude of

ways. When we get dressed up for a special occasion, when

we take that exotic vacation, when we watch Scandal,

were taking a tripa mind trip. Through fantasy, we are younger, smarter, sexier,

    and more successful.

And by we, I mean women andmen. Whether its because of proms, weddings,

or the female body as the ultimate fantasy (trucker mud flaps, anyone?), fantasy

has such a mistakenly female connotation. Men are equal participants in imaginary

escapes. Two words: fantasy football. And lets not forget video games, where every

guy can be ultimate athlete, soldier, rock star. You know the man cave? The expen-

sive spandex road bike outfit? The mid-life crisis sports car? All vehicles of fantasy.

I, myself, use music as fantasy. I put my headphones on at the gym, crank up

the treadmill, and start visualizing. I visualize myself as an amazing writer, a great

wife and mother, I visualize full nights of sleep, the dress Im going to wear to the

holiday party, I visualize success in every aspect of my life, to the tunes of Rihanna,

The Cars, Vance Joy, The Beatles. Sure, my fantasy might involve air drums, but it

is therapyin every sense of the word. I also love getting hooked on great television.

My current escape is back episodes of Game of Thrones. In that hidden time after

putting the kids to bed and packing lunches, I pretend that I lead an army of men,

that I am the Mother of Dragons. Which, in a family of three boys, I am.

The cover of this issue of Waterways Magazine, like that famous painting,The Lady of Shalott, where a beautiful woman glides through the water in a boat,

celebrates fantasy in all its glory. Waterwaysmodel is born-and-raised Austinite,

Danielle Foreman, a senior at Lake Travis High School. Danielle, 1 stRunner-Up in

the 2014 Miss Teen Austin pageant, has been accepted to the Honors College at Ole

Miss University and is considering that among other college options. She hopes to

pursue a career in print modeling, harnessing the power of fantasy to serve her real

    life career goals.

    K

ELSI BARTLEY LITTLE, a longtime Austin resident, teacher, wife, and mother,

passed away on September 26, 2014 at the end of a day affectionately named Kelsi Little

Day by her family and friends. On a trip to Disneyworld in December 2013, Kelsi receiveda call from her doctor revealing that she had breast cancer. Despite her diagnosis, Kelsi remained

positive. She continued to contribute to her community and to work as a 2nd

grade teacher at Lake Travis Elementary during much of her treatment. She is

survived by her husband Thomas and their two year old son, Vann.

Thomas remembers his wife as an Austin girl through and through. Her fam-

ily moved to Austin from Iowa in 1983, and she lived here for the rest of her life.

She attended Bedicheck Middle School, Crockett High, and earned her Bachelors

degree from Southwest Texas State University.

Kelsi taught for Lake Travis ISD for 13 years. She spent her first 2 years teach-

ing kindergarten at Bee Caves Elementary. She moved to Lake Travis Elementary

and found her calling teaching 2nd grade. She taught 2nd for 11 years and never

wanted to teach any other grade.

Kelsi and Thomas were married on August 15, 2011 in Turks and Caicos. Their son Vann was

6 months old and attended the wedding. Kelsi and Thomas were married for just over two years at

the time of her passing. Thomas remembers his wife as a positive and adventurous person. She

loved traveling anywhere she could. She spent a semester in Sweden while in college, and also

traveled to Italy, Russia, Finland, Costa Rica, Canada, and several other places that Im sure I dont

know about! She was very quick to smile and laugh and was an eternal optimist; she kept her smile

    up until the end.

Kelsis love of life, commitment to her students, and beautiful spirit endeared her to many in

the community. Her friend and coworker, Davina Stringer, served as team leader with Kelsi at Lake

Travis Elementary. I had the utmost respect for her insight, experience, and professionalism. We

also had commonalities that always brought our conversations to matters of the heart: our stu-

dents, our children, and our Aggie husbands. Davina also remarked that, despite Kelsis illness,

she was always quick to smile and play. A few months ago, we had all been borrowing swim-wearat my house, gearing up for a splash park/swim play date. Kelsi was such a trooper, determined not

to let her discomfort and loss stop her from getting into the water with Vann and the rest of us.

After Kelsis last hope of treatment had failed, her health faded all too quickly. We celebrated

her on Kelsi Little Day, Friday, September 26th. I believe she held on until then because thats just

the kind of person she was. She held on. Knowing Kelsi taught me about the incredible privilege

we have to enjoy relationships...each moment counts. Kelsi lives on in the grateful consciousness

of the moments I cherish with my children, husband, and loved ones. That is her legacy to me.

During her final days, Kelsis only request to anyone who asked what she wanted was, Take

care of my boy. During Kelsis fight with cancer, Davina established an avenue for supporters who

wanted to make donations and rally with Kelsi in her fight at: https://fundrazr.com/campaigns/

fmcw4. Now that Kelsi has passed, fundraising efforts have shifted to continue to support the fam-

ily and to honor Kelsis only wish, Take care of my boy. Donations can be made at the above site

THE ZILKER Ballroom at the Hyatt Regency provided the venue for this years circus-themed

annual Gala, The Flying Wunderkinds & The Amazing Feats of Giving, benefitting the Austin

Childrens Shelter. Although Co-chairs Tavia Conkling and Shannon Schmitz didnt swing from the

trapeze, they and their troupe of volunteers did present a high-flying event that raised over

$904,000 to support the work of ACS.

2014 marks the 30th Anniversary of ACS, an

organization that has experienced such a dramatic

expansion of services that it is celebrating its 30th

Anniversary with a name change from Aust in

Childrens Shelter to Austin Childrens Services. The

growth in services is specifically designed to prevent

abuse before it happens and to better intervene when

abuse and neglect have already occurred.

THE 9THannual Beauty of Life, a benefit for Hospice Austin, kicked

off with boutique shopping provided by some of Austins most beloved

avatars of fashion, as well as a Silent Auction. 900 people attended the

event, held this year at the Hyatt Regency and presented by Lexus of Austin, The

Boutique on Stonelake, Texas Oncology and Texas Breast Specialists. For the sec-

ond year in a row, Dinah Barksdale and Leslie Timmerman served as Co-Chairs,and were joined once again by Emcee Carl Stuart.

Carl Stuart informed guests that last year donations totaled $80,000 from

pledges taken from the floor, and that this years goal was $100,000. Guests

entered donation amounts on an app provided by Bid Pal on their cell phones

and watched the totals climb on a screen until the goal was surpassed!

In 1994, Hospice served 300 patients. Last year Hospice Austin served 2,000

patients. Along with growth in services, Hospice Austin has built a loyal and

unwavering group of benefactors. As Marjorie Mulanax explained, Your sup-

port means I can say the word Yes. When people ask whether we can continue

to accept all uninsured people who need our help, I can say Yes. To those who

want to know if we can maintain the highest levels of care at Christopher House,

I can say Yes. When I am asked to add an extra week of care at Camp Braveheart

for children who have lost parents or siblings, I

can say Yes, and when asked to begin a pedi-

atric hospice program I could say Yes.

    Best-selling author, journalist, screen-

his life when he was succumbing to the ravages

of ALS. They visited together in Morries study

every Tuesday, just as they used to do back in

college, exploring themes of living and loving

    and dying.

Albom wrote the book to help pay Morries

medical bills. It was rejected by over 40 differ-

ent publishing houses on the rationale that no

one would want to read a book about an old

man dying. The book has sold over 35 million

his lifein a powerful ripple effectgoes on.

Albom spoke of the symmetry at the very

the importance of being held, and caressed and

comforted play the most powerful role in estab-

IN THE YEAR of our savior Reggio Emilia, there did a monster

    reign.

He walked amongst them unnoticed at times. Peaceful. Quiet. As

with Play-Doh. And the Trains of Thomas. And Maresol, that fair teacher of

    Espaol who taketh no crap.

Things are as they should be, they said, at the Time Known As Drop-

Off. And then that time ended and the Time Known As Circle began. A timeof great decibel increase and insurrection.

In mighty voices, they said, LISTEN! LISTEN! LISTEN! LISTEN!

LISTEN! And, NOT ON JOSEPHS HEAD! And, LEAVE ELIZABETH

ALONE. LEAVE ABBOTT ALONE. I DONT KNOW WHY. NOW CIRCLE!

    CIRCLE! CIRCLE!

But circle he did not and lo! Two horns did sprout! And that is how, after

Tales of the Great Letter E, the Time of Circle did end.

In quiet voices, they said, Line-eth up, ye who would travel to the far

reaches of the Kingdom. But Line-eth he did not, especially since he was

not made Leader of the Line-eth. First, he ziggethed. Then he zagethed.

And then he pushed him known as Zachary who yelled unto him, Im first

and youre NOT! And lo, his feet they did become cloven hooves!

Upon reaching the far reaches of the Kingdom, the Time Of Outdoor did

begin. In which sand was thrown far and wide, but mainly into Katies eyes,

and tag, it was played until Carter yelled, We dont like you! and Gregory

    confirmed this and yelled, YEAH!

And lo, he grabbed his shovel and smacked it down, which brought a

voice like thunder that said Yellow light! and then he stomped his cloven

hooves and shrieked and the voice commanded, Red light! But he looked

both the yellow light and the red light

in the eye and laughed and into the OutKnown As Time he was placed. And they

tisked and clucked and remarked, Twas

no shovel he had, but a pitchfork.

As the Time of Outdoor ended and the

Time of Snack began, he no longer walked

amongst them unnoticed, but like a sharp

piece of Lego stuck in their feet.

After the Time of Potty, he washed his

hands and his clothes and the floor and

those around him. And then poopeth he

did go. Not on the potty, but behind the

potted plant. Because it was safe. And

they sighed deeply and whispered the

Prayer of the Pull-Up and wiped and wiped and wiped and called up the

Gods of Sanitation and wiped some more.

During the Time of Clean Up, there did occur a kerfuffle

between him and Jeffery and Marcus and Quincey that shook

the rafters. Then, using a bardic lute, he sang of the kerfuffle

to others over meade juice, but not before they put him in the

Zone Known As Chill and told him to sloweth his motor.

The Transitions, they will be the death of us, they did mut-

ter, and said five Hail-Maria-Montessoris for good measure and

then finallyOH FINALLYit was The Time Known As Lunch,

and then they did wave their magic organic carrot and sprinkled

Impulse Control Crumbs, but the Impulses, they were NOTControlled.

After much pillaging and plunderingbeware the ides of

sunflower butter in your hair!and much shrieking by Jill

and Mary Beth, a noble knight arrived at last to purge the

    kingdom of the devil.

In she strode, wielding the sword of 1-2-3 MAGIC and the

awesome power of love, and she looked into the face of chaos

    and commanded, Come.

And he went. Cloven hooves into Stride Rites. Horns receding.

And they sighed with relief, for they had survived another

day with that plague of school systems in kingdoms everywhere.

That beast that goes by the name: BOY.

ZACH THEATRE opened its 20142015 Family Series with a production of the Tony

Award-nominated musicalA Year with Frog and Toad. The show, an adaptation of Arnold

Lobels well-loved books, tells the story of Frog and Toads friendship throughout each of the

    four seasons.

The musical featured an incredible cast with superb performances by Nicholas Kier as Frog and

Chase Brewer in the role of Toad. Kelly Petlin, Josh Wechsler, and Megan Richards Wright did an

outstanding job as the ensemble playing various characters throughout the show and enchanting the

audience with their antics. The story follows Frog and Toad on their adventures over the course of a year, and

incorporates some of the duos most well-known and loved stories. From Toads attempt

to grow flowers in the spring, his fear of looking silly in a bathing suit in the summer,

the pairs attempts to help each other rake leaves in the fall, through to a bumpy sleigh

ride down a steep hill in the winter, the show offers a number of vignettes that reveal

that Frog and Toad possess a friendship that lasts through every season.

The set made fabulous use of the available space and included the two houses of

Frog and Toad with an open area downstage. The houses were built on rotating

platforms and turned to reveal either the front door or the inner rooms of the duos

homes. With a few simple prop changes and the ingenious use of trap doors and

lighting, the small set took on the aspects of an entire forest and transformed itself

right in front of the audiences eyes to accommodate each season. From its vaudeville inspired costumes and musical numbers to its high energy

choreography,A Year with Frog and Toadis not merely a show for children but is

a top quality production that can and should be enjoyed by audience members of

all ages. Even adults will catch themselves humming along to Getta Loada Toad,

a standout song and dance number in which the entire ensemble joins together to

sing about their hopes of catching a peek of Toad in his bathing suit.

The show was directed by Nat Miller, the Director of Education at ZACH

Theatre. He said, A Year with Frog and Toadis an incredible show that brings the

books to life in a way that is charming, funny, and enjoyable for all ages. It is the

only childrens theatre production nominated for a Tony because of its incredible

music and vaudevillian aesthetic. It is not to be missed!

pretation of Provincial Spanish, Southern Italian, and other temperate

taining space. This entertainment area is positioned around protected gardens and a

central courtyard. The home is a blend of one, two and three story structures, with anexterior that consists of thickened stucco walls, integrally colored in muted earth tones,

and a mix of country stone masonry.

One is drawn to the elegancethe two-story paneled library, domed-topped,

sweeping staircase and a glimpse of the breathtaking views to follow. Its inviting

    FLINTROCK FALLS

Flintrock Falls is a private gated community with breathtaking hill-coun-

try views and boasts one of the most prestigious golf courses in the area,

designed by Jack Nicklaus. Homes in the community range from the$500s to $1.6 million. Home square footages range from 3,000-5,500

sq. ft., with an average of 3,800 square feet. Flintrock Falls features a

closed builder program, meaning only the best of Austins homebuilders

are invited to build in the community. HOA fees include security, main-

tenance of the communitys private roads, and a social membership,

giving members access to many of the amenities Flintrock Falls has to

offer. Amenities in the community include The Academy of Golf, World

of Tennis sports complex, The Hills Sports Spa, Country Club, resort

style swimming pools, and several restaurants. Below is the 2014 Taxing

Jurisdiction for a 5 bedroom, 5 bath, 4626 sq. ft. home in Flintrock Falls,

built in 2007 and appraised at $1,037,873.

    HOA Fee:$105 per month

    Lake Travis Micro-NeighborhoodsAND THEIR TAXES

THERE ARE many things to evaluate when purchasing a home.

Obviously, square footage and features that will best suit you and

your familys lifestyle are primary concerns. And then there are

logistical details to think about, such as proximity to family and friends,

shopping, healthcare facilities, and schools. When budgeting for a home

purchase, it is important to add the assessment of property taxes and

potential Homeowners Association (HOA) fees to the cost of the mortgage

payment. These can vary widely throughout neighborhoods in Lake Travis.

When comparing homes in different communities in Lake Travis, a

detailed look at the taxing jurisdiction is instructive and sometimes reveals

surprising variations among properties of similar size. For instance, asrevealed in the charts at the bottom of pages 36 and 37, a 1905 sq. ft. home

in Lakeway built in 1987 is assessed a total of $6,202.68 in taxes in 2014

whereas a 2151 sq. ft. home in Rough Hollow built in 2013 is assessed a total

of $10,691.48 in taxes in 2014. These are tax rates without exemptions and

do not include the cost of associated HOA fees, that are subject to change.

Across all micro-neighborhoods within Lake Travis, some rates remain

constant. For instance, all homes within the Lake Travis Independent School

District (LTISD) are taxed at the same 2014 percentage of 1.407500 % on

every $100 of appraised value. It is the biggest component of the total tax

assessment, and the percentage assessed is the same for every property in

the district. There are reductions, however, for homesteaded properties and

for homesteaded over 65. However, other components of the tax bill, such

as MUD (Municipal Utility District) or city taxes, vary significantly. There

are many different MUDs within the Lake Travis area, and there are some

communities on septic that pay no MUD taxes. HOA fees also vary greatly

among different neighborhoods within Lake Travis. Even different neigh-

borhoods in Rough Hollow have different HOA fees. There are communi-

ties which have no Homeowners Associations or fees. This usually meansresidents have few restrictions when it comes to the use and maintenance of

    THE FROG PAD

Anne Marie and Steve Pyle love helping their friends and neighbors in the

Lake Travis area find the perfect appliance solutions for their homes. As

owners of The Frog Pad Home Appliance Store, they have the opportunity to

provide individual attention to their clients while offering major brand appli-

ances and electronics in their conveniently located Lakeway showroom.

The Pyles, both originally from New York, moved to Texas in 2001. We

could have moved anywhere in Texas, but we gravitated to Lakeway because

of the community and its a great place to raise children. Both their daugh-

ter Shannon and son Stephen II graduated from LTHS. Shannon played

varsity tennis before receiving her undergraduate degree from Texas A&M

and her Masters Degree from The University of Texas. Stephen II played

varsity football as the LT kicker and is currently at Cal Poly University in

San Luis Obispo studying business and playing D1 football as the Mustangs

    starting kicker.

Looking to offer the benefits of his 30+ years of experience in the appli-

ance industry to the residents of Lakeway, Steve and Anne Marie opened

The Frog Pad in 2009. From their beautiful showroom in Lakeway, The

    Frog Pad Home Appliance

    Store offers appliances for the

    kitchen and laundry room from

the most basic items to the

    highest end packages, as well

    as home automation systems,

    audio and video, custom cabi-

    netry, countertops, and interior

    design services. Steve said The

Frog Padis a one stop shop for

his clients and helps to remove

the stress from the planning and purchasing process, creating satisfied cus-

tomers. We love our customers and they love us! When customers come

to The Frog Pad, the staff will consult with them to discuss their needs,

answer their questions, and help them determine the best options for their

homes. They personally walk clients through their available choices and

even give live demonstrations in the showrooms state-of-the-art gourmet

kitchen. We love to give our customers recommendations and show themoptions they might not have known about before.

The Frog Pad works with clients needing replacements, as well as those

making purchases due to remodeling or new construction. They work

directly with consumers and with builders and will help them create pack-

ages and select products to fit custom home floor plan layouts, styles, and

designs. They also offer professional delivery and installation in order to

ensure that their customers are cared for from their initial visit through to

    the completed project.

For Anne Marie and Steve Pyle, The Frog Pad is more than just a full ser-

vice appliance store, its a way to connect with their community and to offer

their years of expertise to their friends and neighbors in Lakeway.

Keeping HealthyIN THE FACE OF MEGA-GERMS

    STORY BY AVA LOVE HANNA

GERMS ARE all over the news. Stories about the fight against

Ebola reaching U.S. soil, cruise ships plagued with Norovirus,

and worries about superbugs like MRSA abound. For the typical

American it seems like the threat of major illness is everywhere. The recentisolated cases of Ebola in the United States have raised the reporting of germ

threats to a fevered pitch. According to an article in the Washington Post,

David Kaplan of the American Counseling Association argues, People are

feeling out of control. Even if the threat of something like Ebola is minuscule

or remote, hysterical media coverage can lead us to develop a cognitive bias

that things occur more frequently than they actually do. In the case of Ebola

in the United States, fear has spread faster than the virus.

So what really are the risks of illness from threats like Ebola and other

germs for Americans? The answer is fairly low and depends on risk factors

like travel and occupation. In her article, Germs in the News for AARP,

Julie Bain breaks down the most talked about germ threats and explains how

likely one is to get sick from them.

In the case of Ebola, its all

    about location. The people most

likely to be at risk for infection are

those traveling to West Africa. By

heeding the advice of U.S. health

    officials and avoiding travel to

countries being hardest hit by the

illness, the average American is unlikely to come into contact with Ebola.

Location is also an issue for illnesses like Chikungunya, which is spread by

mosquitoes in tropical climates like the Caribbean, and MERS, Middle East

Respiratory Syndrome, which is mostly found in areas near Saudi ArabiaThese germs make headlines in the United States, but they rarely make it

    to U.S. soil.

For Americans, more caution should be given to illnesses caused by

MRSA and Norovirus. MRSA is a staph infection that is resistant to many

antibiotics. It requires direct contact to spread, but risk of illness can be low-

ered with proper hygiene techniques like hand washing and ensuring that

cuts are bandaged. The same holds true for Norovirus, a gastrointestinal

virus. Avoiding close contact with infected people and hand washing are the

best bets to avoid catching this bug. The bottom line is that illness happens

but proper hygiene and common sense will keep most Americans healthy and

free of the germs threats that are making headlines around the world.

    BioFIT Medicine

BIOFIT MEDICINE was designed by owner, Kevin Hoffarth, M.D., with a

singular question in mind: If I were the patient, what would I want?First and foremost: every patient wants to have more time with his or her

doctor. At BioFIT, a medical consult is an average of 120 minutes. Another

goal is having a doctor who will find the root cause of the patients dis-

ease instead of having to take medications for a lifetime, and Dr. Hoffarth

has advanced training through the Institute of Functional Medicine and

world-renowned Cenegenics. Weight and hormone issues are another con-

cern as patients dont want to see multiple providers for these problems.

BioFIT Medicine offers proven, science-based, comprehensive physician-

only weight management, nutritional counseling & bioidentical hormone

replacement expertise. All BioFIT patients receive FREE Ideal Protein con-

sultations by our physician. Patients also want a doctor who can care for

all their chronic care medical needs, and Dr. Hoffarth is uniquely versed in

all areas of chronic care medicine, including diabetes. Bedside manner and

listening are important concerns for all patients, and BioFIT Medicines #1

philosophy is that Dr. Hoffarth is your guide, your advocate & your coach

to reach and maintain your lifetime goals. Finally, many patients dislike the

sterility of a traditional doctors office. BioFIT, set back amongst the beau-

tiful oak trees in Bee Cave, is a boutique-style practice, uniquely designed

so patients can relax in a Zen-like atmosphere. Call Sam at 512-297-2386 to

schedule an appointment. We accept a designated number of patients per

year to ensure quality over quantity.

    Lakeway Dermatology

COMFORTABLE SETTING, personalized attention, advanced tech-

nology and training in a discreet relaxing environmentthe practice atLakeway Dermatology is different than most dermatology offices. We

believe that healthy skin leads to beautiful skin, and you can count on our

board certified dermatologists to help you achieve both.

Lakeway Dermatology opened its doors twelve years ago specializing in

skin cancer detection and treatment including Mohs Micrographic Surgery

Realizing the need for dermatologist supervised cosmetic treatments,

Lakeway Dermatology expanded to include a cosmetic and laser center.

Lakeway Dermatology is now offering an innovative way to address the

common signs of aging. Micro-needling, also called Collagen Induction

Therapy, provides a gentle, effective treatment for fine lines, wrinkles, loose

skin, acne scarring, stretch marks, and hyperpigmentation. During this pro-

cedure, tiny needles are used to create micro-injuries to the skin in order to

produce collagen and elastin. The skins repair process results in a thicker

dermis, and lines and wrinkles become less noticeable. The superficial micro-

channels also allow topical gels, creams and serums to be absorbed more

effectively. Micro-needling can be used on the entire body, and treatment

typically takes thirty minutes or less. The immediate effect after the treat

ment is a glow to the skin. In the six months following treatment, the skin

continues to improve as collagen production increases. Patients see an enor-

mous difference after just one session; however, optimal results are achieved

with a series of treatments spaced at six week intervals. Contact us to learn

more about this remarkable procedure and come experience rejuvenation

without surgical intervention at Lakeway Dermatology.
