a. Power on the Drone with 4S Lipo Battery, the power Indicator inside of the Gimbal Controller Board keeps long RED for system Self-checking. There is a regular blinking process of Green LEDs that indicates the self-checking is finished: Blinking slowly ----> Flashing ----> Long GREEN.b. Fix up the Gimbal with Camera, make sure the Splash Dive case is horizontal. Hold the Dive case tightly, and SHORT press the button ‘RESET’ (In the Gimbal) to calibrate the Accelerometer. Instantly, the Indicator blinks GREEN slowly and gradually become long GREEN, then the Accelerometer Calibration is DONE.c. Repeat the preparations in step ‘b’, LONG press ‘RESET’ for 3s above to calibrate the Gyroscope. When the GREEN Indicator finishes ‘Blinking slowly ----> Flashing’ two times, and finally get a Long GREEN, the Gyroscope Calibration is DONE.d. Loosen the Dive case after finishing the Gyroscope calibration, and test whether the Gimbal has resumed normal phase.

e. Repeating above Manual Calibration twice if the first trail turns out to be failure. What if the abnormal keeps occurring after several times’ manual calibration ? The Software Calibration is here available to complete the further progresses.

ATTENTION: Pls make sure the waterproof Gimbal is staying horizontal & still enough, any extra movement or swaying may cause failure in the Calibration process.

a. Help yourself to download related software via below link sharing:http://swellpro.com/downloads/ Target Location: Waterproof Gimbal Software Assistant_Splash Drone.rarb. Download the ‘.rar’ file, and unzip to find three documents: ‘Diver for Splash Gimbal’, ‘Splash Gimbal(BGC) Software Assistant’, and ‘Tuned Parameters for Splash Gimbal-20150627.profile’.c. Open the ‘Diver for Splash Gimbal > CP210x_VCP_Windows’ to find ‘CP210xVCPInstaller_x64’ and ‘CP210xVCPInstaller_x86’. Thereinto, Installer package with appendix ‘x64’ is for 64-bits Operation System, while ‘x86’ is for 32-bits. Pls install the Driver accordingly.d. Before open the unzipped file ‘Splash Gimbal(BGC) Software Assistant’ to find the BLACK icon named ‘SimpleBGC_GUI’, it’s necessary to make sure the computer is equipped with JAVA program. Of course, system will automatically pop up a reminder dialog box as well.

2、 Software Calibration

a. Double click the icon ‘SimpleBGC_GUI.exe’ to run the software assistantb. Choose the Suitable ‘Language’ setting from the Left-Upper Toolbar in the popped-up interface. And connect the Gimbal controller Board with computer by a piece of MINI USB data cable.

c. Choose the right 'COM' terminal, click 'Connect', and the button will change to 'Disconnect' instantly, it's very convenient.d. In line with the ‘ CONNECT’, there is a ‘Profile’ option on the right, click the button ‘LOAD’ to pop up a dialog box.Reminding: Choose the Option ' Discard Changes and Continue', then choose the file ‘Tuned Parameters for Splash Gimbal-20150627. profile’ and open it.Again Choose the Option ' Discard Changes and Continue'.

e. The interface will return to homepage automatically, click the button’ Write’ to program the tuned parameters into Controller Board. Waiting for the Progress bar fulfills 100%, then complete the procedure of Tuned parameters programming.

ATTENTION: Pls make sure the waterproof Gimbal is staying horizontal & still enough, any extra movement or swaying may cause failure in the Calibration process.

f、Firstly Click ' Camera IMU ', then Click ‘CALIBRATE IMU’ to enter into calibration interface, Fix up the Gimbal with Camera, make sure the Splash Dive case is horizontal and still, and hold the Dive case tightly with one hand.

g、Calibrate the Accelerometer Firstly, click the left button ‘CALIBRATE’ to execute order on Accelerometer, the Indicator will blink GREEN slowly, then flashing and gradually become long GREEN, then the Accelerometer Calibration is DONE.

h、Calibrate the Gyroscope Calibrate Gyroscope by clicking the right button ‘CALIBRATE’, the Indicator will repeat blinking GREEN slowly, then flashing and finally become long GREEN, then the Gyroscope Calibration is DONE.i、After finishing the two calibrations, Click ‘Close’ to quit the Calibrate Interface, then the homepage shows up. To ensure all the data are completely executed & saved, pls DO click the button ‘Write’ once again.j、Plug out the USB cable, and start to test the Gimbal. Repeating above Calibration procedures if the Gimbal isn’t in balanced phased basing on correct operations.
