Each artist has their own style and technique
Gustave Moreau (1826 – 1898)
French painter who appealed to the imagination in creating mythological scenes.
He was part of the "Symbolist" movement which emphasized spirituality, and dreams over naturalism and
realism.
Karl Schmidt-Rottluff (1884 – 1976)
German expressionist painter and printmaker interested in
"primitive" art, and the expression of extreme emotion through high-keyed color.
Andrew Wyeth(1917-2009)
Wyeth said that although he was thought of as a realist, he thought of
himself as an abstractionist.
