Outings and Announcements
The Board will be putting together the outings for 2020 at the January board
meeting. Please let Chuck Cooney or Paul Keefner know if there is a place you
would like the club to fish in 2020. Remember this is your Club and your input is
needed and wanted. The Board did talk about a week long trip to the John Day
River in June this year, Bass Fishing, more information to come.
Election of officers will occur in February. The office of President and Treasurer
is open for a two-year term as per your By-Laws. If you wish to have your name
placed in nomination for one of the Offices, please contact the Recording
Secretary, Galen Flinn, and he will place your name on the ballot. If you are
relatively new to the club or a long time member whose never served on the
Paul Keefner with a beautiful redband
trout caught on the Deschutes River in late
November.

WCFF “Fly Shop Hop” Saturday, January 18, 2020 Washington County Fly Fishers – Let’s show our support to the Portland metro fly shops by visiting them all in one day. Come visit the shop owners and see some new gear, products and fly tying materials. Please budget a few “bucks” to spend at each shop – you know they each have something you can’t live without! Ask for a “gift certificate” for Christmas. These shops have provided donations to fly club auctions/raffles for years – now it’s our time to show them our support.
