•Making up butter/condiment dishes or folding napkins

•Glass collecting and clearing tables or rubbish

•Polishing glasses ready for next function

•Remember every establishment has their own methods and process.  

•Taking afternoon Tea at the Ritz would be a different experience to having tea at you’re local

cafe.

•Always arrive a minimum of 15 minutes prior to your shift beginning

Breaks• By working time regulations you are not entitled

to a break unless you are booked for a 6 hours shift, then you are entitled to 20 minutes.

• Cigarette Smokers must use designated smoking

area.  Don’t forget to wash your hands

• Personal Cash - we request that do not have more than £10 on your person whilst on shift

Mobile phones

During shift mobile phones must not be used. If on your person they must be switched off. They are not to be seen whilst on duty.

Your team leader may use the work phone - this is not a signal that it is ok to use your Mobile Phone.
