Thanks for those members who have done changes on the club information form which I sent out last week. Wilma Skipper has had her surgery in Sydney and is progressing well at home. John is still in respite at the Home of Compassion and will be there until Wilma recovers. On a sad note we have had a couple of members who have lost loved ones in the past week. Ron Pascoes mother, and Lou Debonos mother in Law. Our deepest sympathy to both families. Gordon Aylward has resigned and he will sadly be missed by members. We thank him for his contribution to Lions. In a few weeks my term as your President comes to a close. I take this opportunity to thank all members for your support and help that you have given me along the way. One of the projects we had achieved during the year was supporting the Kooringal Public School students with low vision. With the help of a grant from the Lions NSW-ACT Save Sight and Public Health Foundation Amazon Alexa Speakers were obtained for the school. Prior to the closure of Lions we had arranged to have as guest speaker Lynette Wilson Assistant Principal (Low Vision) from the School.
