‣ Roland TR_606 Drum Machine (Drumatix)
This fun little box rocked many a recording! The 606 was the percussion side-kick to the TB-303. It even looks like the 303. It stores up to 32 patterns and 8 songs. The 606 allows switching between Pattern Play and Write mode while running - making the 606 the only drumcomputer in the X0X series that can be edited while performing and switching patterns.
‣ Roland SH101 Synth
Strap on Mono synth with super thick bass. Had no patch memory, but infinitely tweakable and great for arpeggiated bass lines. Screamed when put through distortion !

Used a bit early on the music path for experimental jams and sessions. Synched primarily to early MIDI Synths like the Korg Poly 800, SH-101, Sequential Circuits Pro One (the ‘shmoe’) and the Juno 106.

‣ Roland MC303 Groovebox
This fun unit was introduced in the mid 1990’s and became the core of the sound used at that time along with the Roland W-30 Workstation. Absolutely nasty and noisy, but can crush at will.
‣ Roland MC909 Groovebox
Released in 2003, this Roland Groovebox still powers a lot of Psiplex tracks. Good box for sketching ideas.
Can link with DAWs or be used as a standalone unit.
