Cr Kadak thanked all the Youth Advisory Council members who worked very hard toachieve an outcome regarding the YAC Tenancy Issue.

Viet Nguyen suggested that he felt that the Youth Advisory Councils had receivedstrong support from the City in recent months.
Ryan Kukura suggested that he felt that membership may have been a limiting factorin recent months. He felt that once a new membership was selected, a more organisedapproach from all participants was required for the Youth Advisory Council to meetits full potential in the coming year.

Cr Hollywood asked members if they would consider running a similar event in thefuture at a different venue. Discussion followed regarding the difficulty of findingappropriate venues for this type of event. Cr Hollywood suggested that conducting adance party in a council premise such as a Senior Citizens Centre, would be a goodway to reduce the negative stereotypes and concerns that are apparent about danceparties. It would also be good opportunity for intergenerational activity. Hevolunteered to approach the Whitfords Senior Citizens centre.
Discussion also occurred about the possibility of setting up a cafe style youth venue inthe central area of Joondalup. Jeremy Manning suggested that a representative of theYouth Advisory Council had been nominated to take part in the committee to overseethe revitalisation of the Joondalup CBD.
