THE CONTRACTOR SHALL ARRANGE FOR APPROPRIATE PERSONNEL TO BE ONSITE DURING WORK ON AIRFIELD ELECTRICAL CABLES. THE CONTRACTOR SHALL IDENTIFY ANDMARK ALL AIRFIELD LIGHTING CABLES PRIOR TO ANY WORK.
3. PROTECTION OF AND REPAIR TO EXISTING CABLES; LOCATION OF KNOWN EXISTING AIRPORTUNDERGROUND CABLES ARE SHOWN ON THE PLANS AND SHALL BE VERIFIED BY THECONTRACTOR. REPAIR OF CONTRACTOR DAMAGED CABLES SHALL BE STARTED IMMEDIATELYAND CONTINUED UNTIL COMPLETED. ALL SUCH REPAIRS SHALL BE IN ACCORDANCE WITH THESPECIFICATIONS AND SHALL BE AT THE CONTRACTOR'S EXPENSE. IF AIRPORT OR FAA CABLESARE DAMAGED, REPAIRS SHALL BE DONE IN ACCORDANCE WITH AIRPORT OR FAAREQUIREMENTS AND IN THE PRESENCE OF AN AIRPORT OR FAA REPRESENTATIVES. THEAIRPORT OR FAA MAY ELECT TO HAVE THE REPAIR PERFORMED BY OTHERS IN WHICH CASETHE CONTRACTOR SHALL BE RESPONSIBLE FOR PAYING THE INCURRED COSTS OF REPAIRS.
4. ALL AIRFIELD LIGHTING CIRCUITS SHALL BE MAINTAINED BY THE CONTRACTOR DURINGOPERATIONAL PERIODS. SEE SPECIFICATION SECTION L-108.
5. INSTALL PULL ROPE IN ALL EMPTY CONDUITS,
6. CONTRACTOR IS RESPONSIBLE FOR PATCHING PAVEMENT AFFECTED BY PROPOSED DUCTSYSTEM OR CONDUIT INSTALLATION. SEE PAVEMENT DETAILS SHEET FOR APPROPRIATEDETAILS.
7. THE CONTRACTOR SHALL THOROUGHLY INSPECT THE SITE PRIOR TO CONSTRUCTION TOVERIFY EXISTING CONDITIONS AND SHALL PROVIDE ALL NECESSARY STAKE OUT OF LINE ANDGRADE FOR CONDUIT FOR THE ENGINEER'S APPROVAL PRIOR TO EXCAVATION.
8. THE CONTRACTOR SHALL STAKE OUT EACH LIGHT BASE FOR THE ENGINEERS APPROVAL PRIORTO EXCAVATION.
9. IN THE EVENT ANY OBSTRUCTIONS AND/OR UTILITIES NOT SHOWN ON THE PLANS AREENCOUNTERED DURING CONSTRUCTION ALL WORK SHALL STOP AND THE ENGINEER NOTIFIEDPRIOR TO PROCEEDING WITH WORK.
