gram on livestock insurance for livestock farmers of God-

wari-2 on 5th December 2017. The orientation was conduct-

In order to promote the livestock insurance among the rural

Livelihood support project, FSCN implemented orientation

and goat insurance activity in the project area i.e. Godawari

-2.As total of 46 households have been covered and a total

of 92 goats have been insured in collaboration with Shikhar

Insurance Company. Among the insurance premium cost

75% cost will be covered by the Government, 10% will be

covered by FSCN and the remaining 15% cost will be paid

by the beneficiaries themselves. After the orientation pro-

gram beneficiaries as well other community members of

Godawari-2 were very keen on insurance of their livestock.

25th December 2017.The training was conducted through the

Livelihood Based Self-Recovery project which is being imple-

mented by FSCN in partnership with World Jewish Relief

(WJR).The training was held at FSCN training hall in Imadole

and was facilitated by Expert Consultant Mr. Sachin Bhattarai.

cial aspects such as balance sheet, trail balance, information

on government subsidy and loan system, operation and man-

agement mechanism etc. A total of 15 participants attended

the training among which 10 were female and 5 were male.
