(A) Demonstrate appropriate behavior towards peers and teacher by not talking when the teacher is talking and following all directions.(MACF 2.26, SHAPE S4.H5.L1) (P) Demonstrate forearm passing a volleyball using the correct skill cues for at least 50% of the lesson. (MACF 2.17, SHAPE S4.H3.L1) TEACHER PERFORMANCE OBJECTIVES -  During th e lesson t he teach er will : 1. Provide demonstrations for how every activity is to be done. 2. Give positive specific feedback to each student on their serves 3. Encourage students to assist others that are struggling 4. Check in with all groups to see the progress of each student SPECIAL CONSIDERATIONS - -Desist any off-task behavior right away. -Use teacher wait-time when students are talking. The body moves forward inthe direction towards thetarget. (power comes fromyour legs)

Safety: Always roll the volleyball

I did an awesome job of giving a

verbal and visualdemonstration ofthis skill. Thestudents were allengaged when Iwas giving themthe direction

because they had tohold their arms outthe proper way.

Safety wasaddressed and there

was no issues.

the students are going to do.Activity #1:Each student will get a partner. One

partner will toss the ball up in the airhigh enough so it bounces first. Afterthe first bounce the other partner willforearm pass it back to their partnerfor them to catch it. Each partner willdo this five times each before theyswitch. They will keep doing it untilthe teacher calls them back in.

Activity #2:Each student will stay with their

partner. This time they will try to tossthe volleyball to their partner and that

partner will try to forearm pass itwithout it bouncing first. They willeach do this 5 times and then switch

partners.

Extensions: Continuously forearm pass it back and forth to each other.

Transition : Students will meet between the two volleyball courts and place their volleyballs in the bin.Teacher will identify the boundariesfor each court before splitting teams

up.

Activity #3 : Teacher will split thestudents up into 4 groups of 5 for 5v5games.

Transition: Students will move tolocker room to change.

With certain classes

I need to make surecertain people donot work together

because they cannothandle workingwith each other.This will help

decrease off task behavior.

Good job stoppingthe class and

The game improvedso much from thefirst lesson. I did a

good job ofencouraging thestudents to put

effort in and gettingthem motivated.
