This will be the LAST paper Newsletter
PLEASE READ!
The Social Committee is going GREEN!As of the next newsletter, set to be published in June, the
newsletter will be electronic. The information and communication in the newsletters are extremely
important but so is building our community “reserve” money. By reducing our paper costs, we can save money by keeping things electronic. Please pay special attention
to the following instructions to make sure you do not miss any newsletter communications - especially during
our spring and summer months when Social activities are in full swing.

Facilities Committee Report This is a busy time of year for the Facilities Committee. We are working on landscaping, pool Contractors, etc.We have a new Landscaping Company whom you will see around (after the snow clears!). They will be busy mulching
and sprucing up the neighborhood for spring.
Pool Report:We are in the process of interviewing multiple pool management companies. The final decision will be presented to the Board by the end of the week. Some items to note:
· There will be no community sponsored swim lessons this year· We will be switching to saltwater for the 2013 pool season going forward.Saltwater is preferred over chlorine which is why many pools are converting to saltwater. There is an initial charge for the conversion; after that it is less expensive to maintain. Some of the advantages are it is softer on your skin, it’s natural and eliminates the need for harsh chlorine which
may be outlawed someday.
Please contact Kristen at [email protected] if you'd like to
join our Friday morning playgroup. Friday mornings don't work? Let Kristen know if you
have any interest in forming a second playgroup.
Finance Committee Report
Where do my HOA dues go?
We, as members of the Finance Committee, would like to help the community understand where their monthly dues are going. The Association has a fully funded Reserve Fund that has been established for
future big-ticket repairs and maintenance. This Reserve Fund helps assure that you will not be hit unexpectedly with a special assessment. Based on the 2012 – 2013 fiscal year budget, the per homeowner
monthly breakdown of costs is as follows:
