NOTES: To answer the question:¿Qué quieres hacer? Use Quiero + a verb

sentences.

*Note: JUGAR & IR are followed by the word A if the noun after A has the article EL A + EL = AL (see question #2!)

You could also answer by changing what it is that you want to do. (only 1 NO if you do that!)

Ex. ¿Quieres bailar? No, quiero cantar.~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~

III. Answer the following questions negatively, but change the activity to something you WANT to do.

1. ¿Quieres ir al trabajo?

3. ¿Quieres hacer la tarea?

*Don’t forget: JUGAR & IR are followed by the word A since trabajo & fútbol both use the article EL combine A + EL to get AL!

NOTES: To answer ¿Adónde vas?Use Voy a + place

Remember: A + EL = AL (if place is masculine, use AL)

Ex. ¿Adónde vas? Voy al parque. / Voy a la iglesia.~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~

IV. Answer the question ¿Adónde vas? in a complete sentence using the pictures below.

Notes: CON = WITH / ¿Con quién? = With whom?

Examples: ¿Con quién quieres ir al baile?

To answer – use Quiero ir + CON + person

Quiero ir con Miguel. / Quiero ir con mis amigos.

*Special terms– With me = conmigo

With you = contigo

Ex. ¿Quieres bailar conmigo?

(Do you want to dance with me?)

Sí, quiero bailar contigo. OR

No, no quiero bailar contigo.

*Notice that you need Sí, or No, in your answer when the question

starts with ¿Quieres? but NOT when it starts with ¿Con quién quieres?
