The Tutorial
Create an a4 page
Make a new layer (layer 1) and using the shape tool create a circle in the middle of the page. Colour the circle with this colour ff955e. Keep your background colour black.
Make a new layer called layer 2 and add the lava texture into the canvas. Make the size of the texture to cover the circle.
Click the eye of the lava layer to turn off the layer. Deselect the lava layer and select layer 1 which is you circle layer and using the quick selection tool to highlight the circle.
Select back layer2 (lava texture) and click back on the eye to see layer 2. Now you should still see the selection of the circle on layer 2.
Go to Select > Inverse and then click delete on your keyboard. It should look like this.
Make a new layer called layer 3 and add in the Dry Rock texture. Resize it so it covers the circle.
Turn off layer3 (click on the eye). Select layer 2 and use the quick selection tool to highlight the circle. Select layer 3 and switch on the layer (Click on the eye). Click on Select > Inverse. Then click delete on your keyboard.
Add a new layer called layer 4 and add the Black Rock texture. Repeat the step above to make the layer into a circle. In the end all layers should be identical circles as layer 1.
Once you have completed that you must change the opacity on these layers. It Should look like this.
Layer 2 Layer 3 Layer 4 Opacity 44% Opacity 4% Opacity 20%
Select layer 1 and click on fx. Click on outer glow. Change it too these settings.
Once you have finished the outer glow. Link all layers except for the background.
Once you have linked all layers, you then merge all layers except for background. The name for the merge layer is layer 4.
On layer 4 double click on the thumbnail of layer 4. You need to Change the inner Shadow, Blending Options and the Gradient Overlay to these Settings.
Once you have a changed the settings duplicate the layer the layer will be called layer 4 Copy.
On Layer 4 Copy Change the Blending Options to these Settings.
Once you have finished changing the settings duplicate the layer again, the new layer is called layer 4 copy 2.
On Layer 4 copy 2 Change the inner glow to these settings.
Once you have finished those settings you have completes this tutorial.
