THE 29TH ANNUAL VIDEO IN THE CLASSROOM AWARDS
Since 1988, the KLCS Video in the Classroom Awards Program has recognized and stimulated interest in the use of video production technology as a teaching tool. By encouraging students and teachers to incorporate technology in the curriculum, we are providing our students with additional tools to succeed. Students learn critical thinking and problem-solving tools by developing interactive multimedia and video programs. A VIC Awards Ceremony is held at the end of the academic school year and schools from Elementary, Middle and High School are recognized for the their outstanding video production in categories such as “Best Documentary”, “Best Mathematics Production”, “Best Independent Student Performance” and technical categories like “Best Editing” and “Best Writing”.
Airs Sunday, September 4th at 7PM and Monday, September 5th at 6PM

NOVA15 YEARS OF TERROR
NOVA investigates the psychology of a terrorist and examines how radical organizations have grown to make use of modern propaganda and social media tools in order to culti-vate an army of self-radicalized killers. Can we understand what happens in the mind of a terrorist and intercede to stop the next attack... or at least stay one step ahead to thwart their destructive plans?
Airs Sunday, September 18th at 6PM and Tuesday, September 20th at 7PM

History/Biography/DocumentaryLINCOLN@GETTYSBURG
In 1863, Abraham Lincoln proved himself a master of a new frontier — not on the battlefields of the Civil War, but in his high-tech command center: the War Department Telegraph Office. The internet of the 19th century, the telegraph gave Lincoln new powers to reshape leadership and wield personal control across distant battlefields. It also connected him to the country in new ways, as information poured in, and allowed him to feel the pulse of the country faster than before. The results of Lincoln’s pioneering experiment in communication led to the rebirth of America on the fields of Gettysburg … both in the battle that turned the tide of the Civil War and in the few words that recast the American ideal as a national creed: the Gettysburg Address. David Strathairn (Lincoln) narrates.
Airs Tuesday, September 13th at 8PM
FORCES OF NATURE
We can't directly see the forces that govern Earth, but we can see their shadows in the shapes of nature that surround us. If we understand why these shapes exist, we can understand the rules that bind the entire universe.
Airs Thursdays at 7PM beginning September 22nd
MASTERPIECEINSPECTOR LEWIS, THE FINAL SEASON
Kevin Whately and Laurence Fox return for one last time as Inspector Lewis and CS Hathaway, investi-gating new cases of murder and other crimes in the seemingly perfect academic haven of Oxford.
Airs Wednesdays at 7PM and Saturdays at 11PM beginning September 7th
WORLD DANCESPORT GRANDSLAM SERIES
The six-part 2015 WORLD DANCESPORT GRANDSLAM SERIES attracts the world's best dancers to compete for the most prestigious titles and the most prize money in the world of dance. This six episode series will cover both the Latin and Standard competitions of the last two regular legs of the series - held in Stuttgart, Germany, and Moscow, Russia respectively - plus the GrandSlam Finals in Shanghai in December. The first four episodes will focus on the de-cisive semi-finals and finals in both Latin and Standard with an up-close-and-personal look at the contestants. The GrandSlam competition uses a revolutionary judging system where the judges no longer compare one couple with the others on the dance floor. Rather, they focus on each couple individually and award points on an absolute scale for the quality of dancing. Combining athleticism and artistry, the 12 best dance couples perform Latin and Standard styles of dance, from the samba, cha cha cha, rumba and paso doble to the waltz, tango, slow foxtrot and quickstep-all in the hopes of being crowned GrandSlam Champion.
Airs Mondays at 8PM beginning September 12th
