Royal Patron: HRH The Duchess of Cambridge

Entrants:

These awards are exclusively for you, our partner schools, in celebration of your commitment to improving the mental health and wellbeing within your communities; and in recognition of the quality and effectiveness of that work. They are for the school leaders, teachers, support staff, parent champions, child champions and the Place2Be colleagues in your schools – who go above and beyond to enhance the school community.

All entrants must agree to the Terms and Conditions for the awards and be eligible to apply. A copy is available at www.place2be.org.uk/awards

Who can nominate:Any member of your school community can put forward a nomination -

School leaders | Governors | Teachers | any member of school staff | members of the PTA | members of the local cluster Steering Group.

But each application must be approved and signed by EITHER the Headteacher OR Chair of Governors.

Guidance:

Your application will highlight how the life of the school is enriched by having Place2Be.

The judges are looking to see clear examples of the full breadth of the work undertaken across your school: from the playgrounds, dinner halls, class rooms and Place2Be rooms, to the homes/families/parents/carers of those that go to Place2Be, and all those who are influenced by the work because we know the ripples of Place2Be extend over such a large part of the community. Whilst part of the nomination process does involve completing this written application form, we hope it will enable your whole school and your triumphs to really come to life, with

parents, children and staff involved in the optional video submission and any other creative ideas you have for helping your school to shine and celebrate the impact Place2Be has!
