Day 1 Hanoi (D)

Welcome to Vietnam!

Arriving at Hanoi Capital, a city of over a thousand years. Greeting at Noi Bai International Airport by the guide then transferring to your hotel in town. Stay the remainder of the day at leisure to recover from your long-haul flight. In the evening, enjoy a healthy vegan dinner at the local restaurant.

Day 2 Hanoi (B, L) For early risers: Practice Meditation at an ancient temple. After that, we transfer to downtown and join with the local who is gathering for Tai Chi around the lakesides in the city every morning. It is magnificent city sight to witness and an even more magical experience to participate in this graceful practice. Back to your hotel for breakfast. After breakfast, stroll down to a fresh and wet market where a huge variety of fresh products are bought and sold every day- a fundamental part of Vietnamese culture. Next, we visit the Vietnam Museum of Ethnology (closed on every Monday) which successfully presents the recognition of Vietnam as a multi-ethnic country and promotes socio-cultural diversity. Continue to the Temple of Literature as we are transferring back to the city center. It was constructed in 1070 under Ly Thanh Tong’s dynasty, first to honor Confucius and now to celebrate the doctorates and high ranking scholars of Vietnam. Lunch at KOTO (refers to Know One Teach One) to support street and disadvantaged youth in Vietnam In the afternoon, indulge yourself with a 150 minute traditional massage and herbal bath at Sen 1992 Health Care Central.

Day 4 Ha Long Bay – Hanoi Hue (B, Brunch) Awake early and join the Tai Chi session on the sundeck or enjoy the breath-taking views of the bay while the boat cruises leisurely in Halong Bay.

Cave excursion after breakfast. Then go back to your cabin for freshen up and check out of your room. Enjoy brunch on board while cruising toward the pier, and disembarking around noon.

Pick up by our guide and driver then transfer to Hanoi’s airport. Boarding your domestic flight to Hue City. Located on the bank of Song Huong- Perfume River, Hue, the capital of Thua Thien Hue province in Central Vietnam, is 700 km south of Hanoi, 1100km north of Ho Chi Minh City, and only a few kilometers from the sea. Until 1945 Hue was the national capital, the political, cultural and religious center of Vietnam under the control of Nguyen Dynasty. Most well-known for its historic values, Hue had been recognized as one of the World Heritage Sites by UNESCO. Be met by our guide at airport and transfer to your hotel in town for overnight.

Day 5 Hue (B, L) Follow our guide to the city center for exploring the Imperial Citadel in the morning. After that, we proceed to Cat Tuong Quan Zen House to get to know about “Nha Ruong”, a typical architecture in Hue as well as the spiritual of this place. Your lunch today will be served at this place with the vegan set menu. Before and during the lunch, you will be instructed on how to get spiritual retreat. Wash your hands with herb cream and walk for meditation after the meal. Transfer back to your hotel. The remainder of the day is at leisure.

Day 6 Hue (B, L)

This morning, we a boat trip along the peaceful Perfume River, visit King Minh Mang’s tomb.

Next, stop at a local pagoda nested in the outskirt of the town, where you will have a chance to interact with the monks as well as doing a short meditation here if the pagoda is not busy at that time. Your lunch today will be served right at this pagoda, with the vegan food that the monks eat every day. Leisure and overnight stay in Hue.

Day 7 Hue – Da Nang (B)

After breakfast, check out your hotel room and depart for 3-hour land journey to Da Nang city through the breathtaking Hai Van pass and Lang Co beach. Checking into your hotel room upon arrival at Da Nang. In the late afternoon, we will join a 60’ Yoga Class on the beach (Pham Van Dong beach area). Relaxing your mind, relaxing your body as we will practice with a professional teacher (Vietnamese or Indian).

Day 8 Da Nang (B) Stay the day at leisure to explore the beach area on your own or enjoy hotel facilities

Day 9 Da Nang - Hoian (B) Leisurely breakfast at the hotel. Today we transfer to Hoian Ancient town.

In this afternoon, we take a guided walking tour around Hoian Ancient Town. Visit the Japanese covered bridge, Chinese assembly hall, a typical Vietnamese merchant’s house, one of the interesting museums and the local market. There’re numerous art galleries, souvenirs and tailor shops where you can get some express made-to-order clothes if you like. The next visit is to home of a craftsman in the old streets. Here we will have a brief introduction to the history, shape and color of the lanterns

as well as stages of making them. After that you can make a lantern by your own, decorate, pack and keep it as a souvenir of your time in Hoi An.

Day 11 Hoian – Da Nang Ho Chi Minh City (B, D) Have breakfast at your hotel, then check out and go to Da Nang airport for short flight to Ho Chi Minh City (Saigon) Upon arrival, be welcomed by your guide and go to your hotel in the city center for checking-in. In the midafternoon, explore the bustling city with quick view of the Reunification Palace, Notre Dame Cathedral and Ben Thanh market. Later on board Cruise for a dinner on Saigon River.
