Day 1 Arrival Ho Chi Minh CityArrive in Ho Chi Minh City, Vietnam. Meet and transfer to hotel for rest.

Day 2 Ho Chi Minh City (B/L)Today’s full day sightseeing includes a visit to the CHU CHI TUNNELS, a network of tunnels used by the Viet Cong as a hideout during the war. Return to Ho Chi Minh City and visit the WAR REMNANTS MUSEUM and the REUNIFICATION PALACE. The evening is at your leisure to explore this lively city.

Day 3 Ho Chi Minh City (B)A free day to explore the city and surrounding area on your own.

Day 4 Ho Chi Minh City – Hanoi (B/L/D)Today fly to Hanoi, the nation’s capital and one of Southeast Asia’s most engaging cities. Upon arrival in Hanoi, tour the city by sightseeing transfer, with stops in the Old Quarter and French quarter. Visit the museum of Ethnicities. Check into the hotel and refresh then head out to dinner at a restaurant on the lakeside, followed by a water puppet show.

Day 5 Hanoi (B/L)This morning’s sightseeing focuses on Ho Chi Minh, the father of modern Vietnam. First, visit the MAUSOLEUM and the humble cottage from which “Uncle Ho” ruled Vietnam until his death in 1969. Next on the agenda: the ONE PILLAR PAGODA, the HO CHI MINH MUSEUM, and the PRESIDENTAL PALACE. Also visit the ancient TEMPLE OF LITERATURE, over 900 years old and Hanoi’s first university.

Day 6 Hanoi – Halong Bay (B/L/D)Today depart Hanoi early morning for Halong Bay where you board a traditional Vietnamese Junk for an exhilarating cruise.

Day 7 Halong Bay – Noi Bai – Siem Reap (B)After breakfast, leave the boat and drive to Noi Ba where

you’ll board your flight to Siem Reap, Cambodia, your base for exploring the temples of Angkor. Constructed between the 9th and 13th centuries, the temples are unmatched among the world’s ancient ruins.

Day 8 Siem Reap (B/L)Your sightseeing starts at the best preserved of all the temples – ANGKOR WAT, which honors the Hindu god Vishna. Next stop is ANGKOR THOM to see BAYON TEMPLE. One of the few Buddhist temples in Angkor, it features some 200 striking faces carved in 54 towers. Enjoy the afternoon at leisure.

Day 9 Siem Reap (B/L)This morning, visit striking TA PROHM, which has been left relatively untouched, unlike many other temples. Here, the jungle surrounds you and tree roots grow over and through the ruins. Next, visit BANTEAY SREI, a unique small temple built from red sandstone and dedicated to the Hindu god Shiva. The afternoon is at your leisure.

Day 10 Siem Reap – Bangkok (B)Fly to Bangkok, Thailand today. Upon arrival in Bangkok, meet and transfer to hotel for rest.

Day 11 Bangkok (B/L)Today, enjoy a morning sightseeing tour that includes a visit to the stunning GRAND PALACE featuring WAT PHRA KEO, which houses the Emerald Buddha. You will also visit WAT PHO, the oldest and largest Buddhist temple in Bangkok, featuring the massive Reclining Buddha. Lunch at local restaurant. The balance of the day is at your leisure to enjoy the sights and sounds of this fascinating city.

Day 12 Bangkok – Kachanaburi (B/L)Full day tour to the River Kwai, visit Railway Museum, River Kwai Bridge, Tiger Temple and take a ride on historic railway train. Lunch at local restaurant.

Day 13 Kachanaburi – Bangkok (B/L)After breakfast, visit to the Erawan Waterfalls located 25 minutes away from the property. With seven falls to explore and walk up, over and under, this is an experience of a lifetime. Lunch at local restaurant and return to Bangkok.

Day 14 Bangkok departure (B)Transfer to airport for departure flight.
