thousands of species of sea life, as

Day 4: Thursday, November 13, 2014 Cairns Today visit the Tjapukai

Aboriginal Cultural Center to meet

Australia’s original inhabitants. See

the traditional dances, learn how to

play a didgeridoo or even throw a

boomerang. Browse the renowned art

gallery and visit the interpretation

center, which houses a collection of

interesting artifacts. Visit Hartley’s

Croc Farm for a chance to get up-

close and personal with crocodiles in

their natural habitat! Boardwalks take

you on a path of adventure through

rainforests and woodlands to see

animals such as wild birds, reptiles

and wallabies. While visiting you

also have the chance to meet some

of the local koalas and have a

private talk with a wildlife

naturalist to learn more about these

cruise on the lagoon looking for

speed catamaran for an exciting

excursion to the Great Barrier Reef. This is an immense series of 2,800

coral reefs which are home to

Milford Sound you will see why this

Garden of the Sleeping Giant Island Tour $70 USD

This popular half-day tour takes you into Nadi's scenic hinterland to the Garden of the Sleeping Giant. This garden,

begun by Hollywood actor Raymond Burr, now houses one of the largest and most varied orchid collections in the

world with over 2,000 different varieties. The Vuda Lookout affords a 360 degree bird's-eye-view of the West's

mountain ranges, Nadi Bay and the beautiful Yasawa Group of islands. Travel to Viseisei Village, the legendary

landing site of the first Fijians, where you will enter the village and have a chance to explore the local handicraft

displays. You will also make a stop in the bustling township of Nadi to experience the modern style of Fiji living.

Queenstown

A Blaze of Glory on the Shotover River! $110 USD

Zoom through the sheer canyons of the Shotover River on this thrilling ride. Shotover Jet boats race along in mere

centimeters of the glacial water which flows down from the Southern Alps, providing an exhilarating, but safe and

enjoyable ride for all ages. You may get a little wet, but it is a unique and fun way to enjoy the spectacular scenery of

the South Island of New Zealand and absorb a little of the spirit that has made Queenstown a world center for

adventure tourism. Many people think adventure is only for the young. Guests on these jet boats consistently illustrate

otherwise – this adventure is perfect for the young at heart! Please Note: Weather may be cold and you may get wet

Journey through Middle Earth – “Safari of the Scenes” $145 USD

Embark on a 4WD adventure into the primeval, mystical landscapes where the powerful trilogy inspired by J.R.R.

Tolkien was filmed. The vast panoramas of unspoiled wilderness and awesome grandeur of New Zealand’s South

Island provided the ideal setting to bring these beloved adventures to life. Trek into the Remarkable Mountains and

travel to the entrance of Skipper Canyon. As well as locations where scenes from the movies were filmed, this safari

Step back in time when you board the TSS Earnslaw, the beloved steamship that has been transporting goods and

people on Lake Wakatipu since 1912. Nicknamed "The Lady of the Lake," she is the only coal-fired steamship still in

operation in the southern hemisphere. Embark on a leisurely cruise across the lake to Walter Peak High Country Farm.

Enjoy the hospitality of the Colonel’s Homestead at an impressive buffet where you can indulge in the best of New

The Outer Reef Experience $170 USD

Jump in and explore the vibrant, colorful world teeming with life at the outer Great Barrier Reef. This massive reef

Reef pontoon where a diverse, bountiful ecosystem is yours to discover. See the kaleidoscopic underwater sea life

from up close as you snorkel along the reef and board a semi-submersible. Many other fascinating activities await you

Head out to see some indigenous wildlife at Koala Park! This family-owned sanctuary was established over 90 years

ago in response to the harsh treatment of koalas for fur export. Immersed in 10 acres of native eucalyptus and

rainforsest growth, the park works to ensure that these lovable creatures will continue to live and breed naturally for

generations to come. Visit with the koala population of the Sanctuary - you can even cuddle and have a photo with a

koala! You’ll also have the chance to walk among the kangaroos and wallabies, and see dingoes, wombats, echidnas,

Cairns

Over and Through the Rainforest Canopy $100 USD

Glide over and through the lush rainforests of Cairns on the Skyrail Rainforest Cableway, the world’s longest gondola

cableway. The comfortable gondola carries you 4½ miles through the rugged beauty of Barron Gorge National Park,

part of the Wet Tropics, a UNESCO World Heritage area. The gondola dips through the layers of the canopy to bring
