Thanks to cutting-edge CCD or CMOS technology in conjunction with the outstanding KARL STORZ lens systems, KARL STORZ videoscopes offer crystal clear, true-color imaging. Still images and multi-hour video sequences can be intuitively stored on a data carrier without requiring an additional camera.

Furthermore, we offer videoscopes with an integrated measuring system that is very precise and easy to use. The area to be examined is marked and can be immediately measured with precision. The resulting measurement image can then be used for additional measurements, such as of height, distance, area, etc. In addition, the measurement images can be edited at any time by inserting text, colored markings, etc.

A videoscope or videoprobe is a flexible endoscope that features a video chip at its distal end.

An ergonomic handle designed for one-hand operation ensures ease of use. The short, flexible tip with 4-way deflection enables thorough inspection, even in hard-to-reach spaces. The distal tip is controlled via the new, manual CLICK4MOVE® control that features several advantages over the conventional joystick control:

– Lag-free reaction without overtravel

– Direct and accurate control

– Ultrasensitive control, that is, the direct tip deflection does not involve a motor and allows the user to directly “feel” obstacles or blockages

– Acoustic feedback

Outer tungsten braiding ensures maximum sheath flexibility as well as the stability required in industrial use. A kink protector prevents damage to the videoscope.

Some videoscopes feature an additional working channel for introducing tools for magnetic or conventional grasping. Our videoscopes are 1 - 7.5 m long and have a diameter of 3.8 - 8 mm.

In general, KARL STORZ maximizes the size of monitors to facilitate the detailed display of the full-size, high quality images as well as the generation of meaningful findings. The quality of these images is also strongly influenced by the light sources that are specifically selected for each endoscope and externally connected to the system to optimally meet your needs.
