    ADVANTAGES OF OFICINA GROUP

The activities developed in Vessel follow work instructions to ensure standardization andtherefore reliability.

All repaired equipment is tested before the service end.

In Vessel, the repaired equipment must provide performance and yield similar to a newone.

We test bench with installed power of 250 hp, dynamometers for evaluation engines andbooster for nitrogen load on accumulators.

Hydrostatic tests are performed in Accumulators according to NR 13 , with the emissionof databook.

The equipment repair in our workshop is performed in a controlled environment inadequate temperature and cleanness. This condition offer security to our costumer´sequipment

The services may be accompanied by the customer in real time by cameras usingSKYPE software.

To ensure this way of working we have an efficient and detailed traceability of ouractivities. All equipment is identified and tracked in our workshop

All repair and testing activities in the workshop are certified in ISO9001-standard systemof Quality Assurance Management, by BVQI.

The winch and brake are tested in our traction bench test.

    SOME "CASE" MADE

    Some activities we do:

    1. For technical support on cranes and rescue boat winch, keep in inventory, variouscomponents to be leased, such as commands, accumulators and winches. These components can be used to replace installed ones on the client, on atemporary basis in order to permit removal of the original and repair feasiblewithout putting the system inoperative.

    2. To clean (decontamination)  hydraulic systems, such as thruster, CPP andreducing and hydraulic units, we have filtering units and vacuum term. Theseunits, as well as removing solid contaminants, allow the removal of water, salt andvarnish.

We have a laboratory in our workshop to allow the system oil analysis, measuringthe amount of water by the Karl Fischer method, the presence of salt (sodiumchloride), allowing to specify the source of contamination, particle counter andmicroscope to qualify and quantify contamination of solid particles.

For field service we possess device to evaluate the viscosity, oil humidity (amountof oil), and particle counts to measure in real time contamination.

    3. We have a service to analyses the performance of Hydraulic systems, such ascrane and winch.

It allows our costumer to program dockage more effectively avoiding problems inthe failure in the rescue boat during the classification test, normally performed atthe end of dockage.

The performance test also allows to analyses the possibility of futureproblems in the equipment, since the charge tests give guarantee to the capacityof the equipment without evaluating the state of efficiency of the hydrauliccomponents and possible future problems

Before dockage, we perform previous inspections to allow the definition of

repair strategies, design, maintenance to define the best conditions price anddeadlines.

    4. We conducted the specification service and change hoses. We do not providehoses, only specify, we inspect and manage the acquisition of these. We carry outcleaning of the hoses with pig, prior to assembly, to prevent contaminantsproduced during cutting and manufacturing hose.

Our difference is to provide a link with commercial and international codes, andperform a safe return, identified with cleaning and classification of hoses.

    5. When necessary, we can perform the full equipment review  in our workshop, such as winches, cranes, a-frame. We have in our workshop a bench for up to 15ton winch test with the performance of traction and braking tests.

    6. We carry  out piping design, manufacture, hydrostatic testing, flushing andpickling. We did the whole design of hydraulic networks of tugs Superpesa, someDOFSUBEA's ROV launch systems, flushing and pickling service on boatsmanufactured on São Miguel (Thruster, winch and oil recovery system).

    7. We reinforced steel cable replacement under tension  service, foroceanographic research winch.

    8. Review and manufacture of special equipment such as hydraulic shackles, hydraulic collar, hoist tools for diving, tractor unit for launching fiber optics (LCE),automatic cable distributor installation in winch, remote control for winch and cranedrive.

    9. We have teams for emergency care as a strategy for prompt service.

When a customer calls for an emergency service, such as a broken or inoperativeequipment, we send a team in order to identify the problem, establish the repairstrategies and deliver the possible services. This team is usually composed of twotechnically authorized professionals.

    10. Some of the systems designed to operate in cold environments such as the NorthSea, cannot work properly in tropical temperatures, asking to hold a resizing ofheat exchangers. We carry out the resizing of the thermal balance of the hydrauliccircuits and new cooling systems installation. This service is calledtropicalization.

    11. Equipment can be designed and built with inadequate filtration system to keep theoil in suitable conditions. We analyze and develop filter systems.

    12. Repair is performed in our workshop, in addition to equipment and hydraulicdevices, reducing and brakes.

    13. We carry out flushing and extra filtering system with water Glycol (HW).

    14. Periodically we carry out trainings and workshops for our employees andcustomers to develop knowledge of hydraulic and market news.

    15. We work with maintenance contracts, service and monitoring hydraulic system, which allows working with different prices and conditions. As an example, undercontracts with the Navy, Petrobras, Subsea 7.
